Tessa:She ignored everyone and continued to walk. She sat down in the waiting room and hushed Loco waiting to be led into the room. She listened to voices getting closer and closer and closer! Then fade back away. She assumed that it was Ciel that had just arrived.

Ciel: He soon blacked out, after a nurse had forced some kind of medicine down his throat to make him fall asleep. Soon, he woke up in a bed. Judging by his stitches and such, he was alright. He had that strange hospital 'gown' on him, and immediately blushed when he realized the doctors saw him naked. Something was different, though. He couldn't feel his left leg, the seriously injured one, at all. He shook the curious thought away. It must have been numbed. 

Tessa:Loco no! She grabbed the squaking bird who flew into a patients room and quickly ran back. Loco. She whispered. No....Bad bird. No. Loco who seemed confused and thought he was doing a good thing bit her. He fluttered away to another empty chair. She held her hand and turned it over revealing the puncture he had made. She shook her head as if 'Bad bird'. She glanced down the hall quietly.

Doctor: A doctor walked over to Tessa. "You are Ciel's friend, are you not?" he said, scanning her with his eyes. "Well, I'll tell you what's up with him. I have no idea how this happened, or why he's up so early, but the wounds were rather fatal. Most of them were stitched up, though, so that's good." 

Nurse: She came walking towards Tessa and the doctor with Ciel by her side. "Doctor, the leg is fine. He can manage perfectly with it." 

Ciel: He looked at the nurse. "I know my leg was injured, but... Why would I have trouble walking?" 

Nurse: "I'm so sorry, shug, but... The wound on your left leg couldn't be helped. We gave you a... Prosthetic leg." 

Ciel: He had a look of surprise and disbelief on his face, but stayed silent. 

Tessa:She covered her mouth quietly and Loco fluttered over toward the fimiliar face of Ciel he perched atop of his head. Tessa was silent and then glanced over at the doctor she had suddenly hit realization and her French culture soon hit her. She suddenly bowed. I thank you of your work and helping my friend. She said and straightened herself back out. She was calm but alittle worried.

Ciel: He stayed silent, still in disbelief. A fake leg. 

Doctor: "Well, we'd like to know what happened, Ciel. Did you try to commit suicide? Jump off a cliff and crawl yourself back?" There was a slight tone of sarcasm in the Doctor's voice. 

Ciel: "No, no... I got mugged, that's all. Thanks for fixing me up, though. But don't bother sending the bill to my parents, I'm sure it's a lot. I can pay it off myself in... A few months." 

Tessa:Oh you don't have to worry about the hospital bill. I have it all covered. I don't know what to do with half of the money I inherited anyways. How much is it? She quietly questioned and started for her bag.

Ciel: "No, honestly, you don't have to pay for the bill," he said, looking at Tessa. "It's my mess, I can pay it for myself." He forced a small smile. 

Tessa: Hey, Its another reason I'm here for you. She lightly smiled and watched Loco flutter around itching to get back out into the open. She watched him repeatly run into a window. Loco. You will hurt yourself. She quietly examined the bird as he continued to frantically run into the window. He soon got dizzy and fell down. She shook her head and turned back toward the doctor. You can send the bill to A Single Step Boarding School. She took out a piece of paper and wrote her room number address to give him.

Doctor: "Alright, thanks," he said with a smile, taking the paper. He stored it in his pocket, then turned to Ciel. "Walk around for a little bit... I want to make sure nothing went wrong with the, um, operation." 

Ciel: He felt so grateful towards Tessa, unbelievable grateful. He smiled at her, as a sign of gratitude, before proceeding to walk around the nurse, the doctor, and Tessa. There was only the slightest limp in his step, and it was almost unnoticeable. 

Tessa:She went to go scoop up the dazed bird and watched Ciel. Happyness filled her, she knew it could have been much worse. That he could have died. She stroked the bird softly. I'm glad this all worked out. She said quietly.

Doctor: "Well, then, it seems that everything is alright! You have permission to leave the hospital, Ciel." 

Ciel: He nodded, as a thank you, and looked at Tessa. "Thank you so much," he said sincerely. "If it weren't for you, I'd be dead by now... And the bill is so high..." 

Tessa:Its fine. You don't need to worry about the cost of anything. My family was rich so I have money that I don't know what to do with....Fathers...Mothers....And now Seth's.....My grandparents......Aunt's, Uncles....So its fine...And.....I wouldn't dare let you die. I would be so alone at school.  ^-^

Ciel: He couldn't help but break a smile. "Thank you so much," he said again. He just knew he would be saying that over and over again in the months to come. Once the doctor and the nurse left the two, he quickly said, "Let's get out of here... Hospitals creep me out." 

Tessa:Same here. How about you Loco?
Loco:Creepy....Creepy...He said still somewhat dazed. He flew for the door and someone opened it he looked at the door for a few moments when he was outside. Take that! Take that! Take that! He repeated in joy.

Ciel: He raised an eyebrow at Loco, but then walked out of the hospital. He still couldn't get over the fact that he had a fake leg. Even as he thought and thought about that, he shrugged it off. Oh well, now he has a new leg. At least he even has a leg. 

Tessa:She stopped suddenly as a car rushed by close to the sidewalk. Her eyes suddenly lit up and she took a couple steps back not wanting to cross the road even though at some point they would have too.

Ciel: Once it was alright to cross the road, he began to walk forward, but realized Tessa wasn't coming. He turned around. "Are you coming?" he asked.

Tessa:Fastly shook her head. She wasn't going for anything in the whole world.

Ciel: He raised an eyebrow, but smiled. "Alright, then... I'll see you later." He crossed the road, and proceeded to begin to walk back to A Single Step boarding school.
