Tessa:She fixed her black sweater and took a seat. Nothing...Nothing at all...I just thought I saw...Mom.

He blinked a few times and looked at the floor. "It's almost funny, what your eyes can do to you," he said quietly. 

Tessa:Yes....They...They can decive you...In so many hurtful ways....They can twist every single sweet and horrific moment...

Ciel: He nodded with agreement, before tapping his fingers of his right hand against his leg in a steady rhythm, music flowing through his mind. 

Tessa:She stopped and listened to the steady tap, tap. And let the notes flow through her head once she caught the rhythem. She tried to figure out what the notes would be like on the piano. She silently, not to disturb Ciel, took out a notebook and pen and began to write the notes.

Ciel: He stopped tapping as he saw a certain person out the window, and his eyes widened with shock. "Okay, uh, not good," he mumbled to himself, before turning to Tessa. "Ah, sorry, but this is necessary... Just for a moment." He put the hood of his hoodie on, pulling it low so that his face was not visible. He swore under his breath as he heard familiar footsteps walk into the cafe. 

Tessa:She let the notes cut off and put the notebook and pen quickly back into her bag. She watched Ciel for a second then quickly looked away trying to draw attention toward him. Or hoping not to. She held her silent tone.

Ciel: He looked up as a boy slightly older than him tapped his shoulder and put the hood back down. "Oh," he said in a nervous tone, looking up at the boy. "Hello, Ryou..." 

Ryou: "Hey, long time no see, little brother!" he said with a smile on his face. He looked at Tessa. "Who's this? Your girlfriend?" 

Ciel: "Wha- No, no, we're just friends," he said hastily, glancing at the door. Now that his brother was here, he wanted to leave. 

Tessa:She felt the tension sink into the room and wanted to dart out with all her life. She stayed for a few seconds then hesitated she glanced out the window for several seconds seeing the image again. She just left it alone and glanced at Ciel then his older brother.

Ryou: "Aw, just friends?" He slipped a finger under Tessa's chin and tipped her head up so he could look into her eyes. "But she's so cute..." 

Ciel: "Ryou, you're being a pervert!" he hissed, glaring at his older brother, but he made no contact with him. 

Tessa:She let out a sudden cold breath her blue eyes dark like the sea. She stayed silent listening to the voices surround her. She didn't dare glance off for she new better than that. She just watched him.

Ryou: He took his finger off of Tessa's chin, and frowned at his brother. "Honestly... I just say that she's cute and you say that I'm a pervert? What a nice brother you are." 

Ciel: He looked aghast, but had nothing to say. He looked at Tessa. "I gotta go, sorry... Bye." He left the cafe, walking back to the boarding school. 

Ryou: "Honestly, he's such a boring guy," he sighed, leaning against a table. 

Tessa:She wanted to run. Run and never look back. But that wouldn't be polite. So she would sit there. And if he insisted on talking. Then she would talk. She watched the glass of Apple Cider

Ryou: "You're really quiet," he commented, not looking at Tessa. "Not surprising. Ciel doesn't like loud people." 

Tessa:She hated the conversation so far. She glanced at the floor and only nodded. At least....She thought. I am in a public place.....Nothing bad would happen in a public place. Right?

Ryou: He let out a loud sigh. "Say something, will ya? The silence is killing me." 

Tessa:She wanted to stay quiet for forever but knew now that, that was not happening now. So...Your his older brother?. She said softly but with some curiosity.

Ryou: "Of course I am," he replied flatly. "I always have been. It's kind of funny though, we're brothers yet we're complete opposites. At least, that's what Walter says." He blinked a few times and glanced over at Tessa. "Walter's our stepdad." 

Tessa:Oh. She nodded quietly she tried to ignore the rough tonality of him and glanced outside. You two...Do seem that way...Is what I think...
