  • From A Broken Heart
From the tree the fae watched the pup and mother. Never a fan of the little things they call pup's. You were one once. That's what everyone tells her. Just something about them made her annoyed. So needy, so helpless. Rolling her gray eyes she continued to eat her snack.

  • The Ghost Of The Forest
Brown legs soon stood from the den, walking out into the light. Today it was bright, the sun seemed to be feeling better after being sick and raining for what had to be a week. Shaking his pelt Ghost yawned. Padding to a corner of the main pack land, watching the small pup bound off.

Mia: Dimitri. She asks, you can hear worry in her voice. We shouldn't be here. The pack doesn't know we are here, and they could attack.

Dimitri: Stop worrying. From the smell of it, there aren't many wolves. If we are attacked, we could fight our way out.

Sky~ Watching closely at the deer herd, I tried hard to pick the weakest one. Doing this was pretty hard, it was usually Rose's job. But we decided to switch this time; it's more of a challenge. I narrowed my orbs slightly, trying to focus more on the deer. My lips twitched as I found my target. It was an elder doe with an old leg injury. It was about time for her to pass. Now that I found my target, it was time for action.

I peered at the far away bush, I saw Rose and noticed that she was looking at me, waiting for a signal. I knew that she already spotted out objective, she was just waiting for me to find it. It's one of the reasons why we do this; switching roles. Nodding my head to the deer herd, I told her I was ready. She ducked down and got in position. I glanced back at the herd, they were still feeding, unaware of the dangers, of us. I slowly stalked the doe, making sure I was in the fresh undergrowth.

As I got close enough, all of a sudden, all of the deer started to flee. I paused, confused, wondering if I did anything wrong. It was chaos as the deer scrambled at get away. When they were all gone,  I got up and looked around for Rose. My eyes widen as they land on her. She was growling and glaring at a bee. I sighed, no wonder the deer ran away. Going over to her, I gave her a little nudge to get her attention. Once she looked at me, her eyes widen as she notices that the deer were gone. "Sorry." Rose apologized "But it stung me!" I nodded, it really wasn't a big deal, it's just we can't eat yet.

"Lets go back to the pack." I suggested as she shoot the bee, who was not pollenating nearby flowers, a dirty look. I then turned around, going back to the camp, knowing she would follow.

After chewing on the bones of the small rabbit the fae dropped it over the limb of the tree. "Nothing but bones" The mumble was spoken to no one. Getting up slowly she jumped from branch to branch until her pads finally hit the dirt. Shaking tree bark from her gray pelt she trotted into the trees. Looking for a catch to replace her one full of only bones.

Mia: a bush near her moves, and she nearly jumps over Dimitri, frightened.

Dimitri: He looks down at Mia, who was now laying on the ground next to him. Relax. We are fine.

Mia: She looks up at Dimitri, then stands up. She walks over to the bush and peers in. It was only a bird.

  • The Ghost Of The Forest
Ghost found himself padding around, looking in every den as he passed. Seeing that Sky and Rose weren't there he tilted his head. Then recalled seeing them leave into the forest side by side. Shrugging it off lightly the brute sat in the brush, waiting for them to return. Just for no reason really- just making sure they were fine.

  • From A Broken Heart
Trotting soon came to a low stalking. Small pads hitting the grass without a sound. What was she after? A small game bird.  Its better than nothing, isn't it? The note was pondered for a while until she simply didn't care- she wanted it. With every glance at its feathers made her want it more taking a step forward a wolf's muzzle poked through a bush- the game bird flying off quickly. Growling as the would of been meal flew away she pinned her ears back.

Growled escaped from the female's mouth. "That was my meal!" She snapped almost to herself as her head turned to the two wolves. Seeing a Brute and Fae looking at her. A minute passed with her studying them. Growling still at their reckless way to give up her catch. Still in pouncing stance she just narrowed her eyes at the two.

Rose~ The bee sting, throbbing on my back, started getting irritating. I had to use all my willpower to not stop and rub my back on a tree right now. My strides because quicker, as I tried to caught up with Sky. We finally got back to camp. I slowed down as we got to the entrance, coming to a halt in the clearing. I watched as Sky disappeared in our den. Then I turned around and dashed to the bush. I spotted our alpha sitting there. "Waiting for someone?" I asked, curious to see why he was here.

  • The Ghost Of The Forest
While sitting there the brute had fallen into a daydreaming like state. Thinking as he sat there, watching the outline of the trees and such. A female voice made him snap out of it, shaking his own head to get out of the state. Standing he backed up some, dipping his head as a sorry for him not responding for a few minutes. "Just seeing to that you get back okay. Never hurts to follow up" The deep calming voice seemed to float across the air like a hand on soft velvet. Backing up some once again so the fae could get into her den if wanting to he sat once again. Looking around some, but his own amber eyes came back to the fae.

  • From A Broken Heart
The stance had not changed from what they had said, nor did the glare she gave off. "What are you doing here." Demeaning and brusque, the tone was sharp and needed to be answered. Taking a step towards them she remained in her stance. "This is not your pack." A feint growl could be made out as she lowered her head, lips curling  up some to a scowl. Her teeth showing some.

Rose~ My lips twitched at his thoughtfulness. Sky and I have never had anyone wait for us before. We've never been in a pack. "Thanks." I told him. "You really don't have to wait for us like that. We were just going for a hunt." I explained. "We're kinda new at this pack thing and don't like it when others hunt for us."

  • From A Broken Heart
Great, the meal killers have a seventy five chance of getting into the pack. Five percent chance they get snatched by a rouge. Three percent they fall into the river. Two percent chance- The fae's mind continued on with the math in her head. Not saying a word she stopped her growling. Replacing it with mumbles with foul words and such. Turning on her haunches, her own gray tail flicked annoyed still about her catch. Quickly her pads pressed against the dirt. Braking into a high pace trot she headed for the pack. They follow or they don't. Not my problem. The thought soon turned into a mumble as the agile wolf dodged trees.

  • The Ghost Of The Forest
"True, but what an erg it was to wait and see till you two come back. Buck can be deadly, just seeing out the pack stays in good heath." Standing the brute toward over her, bulky instead of lean. Shaking neck some he softly smiled at the fae. "Do not worry, I understand that many do not like to hunt with others in the pack. Feel free to hunt when you feel able to. Just remember I shall be here making to it that you always come back unharmed." The toothy grin was warming as the brute tipped his head in a short goodbye. Leaving the fae slowly not to cut off the conversation if she wanted to continue it.

  • From A Broken Heart
Broken padded along in silence. That is until she felt the soft pelt of one of the wolves brushing slightly on her tail. Turning her head she snapped, her jaws creating a loud clamping noise. "Space!" The words were laced in a scowl as the trot broke into a sprint. Weaving between trees until the fae reached the clearing. Though she didn't break her speed- running to her tree and bounding up it.  Alone at last.

  • I must go eat dinner. I will be back soon though- if you want to be accepted into the pack go to Luck and Love. Luck your in charge while I'm gone, sorry! Bye.

Rose~ I nodded and gave him a small smile. It vanished as soon as it came, as I remembered why we came back empty handed. I gazed at my paws. "Well, we didn't kill anything." I said sheepishly. "I, kinda, got stung by a bee, making the deer flee."
