They'll follow me..." He turned toher. "And they will leave you alone. That gives you time to set up a safer territory." Dark Secret sighs when they get back to the place. He stuck his hooves ino the ground and skidded to a halt. He scoffed and tugged back, buthe felt another sharp pain on hsi side like he did before. He jumped over to the other side and obidiently followed the human before he got whipped again. When he got in the pennel, many other horses greeted him with huffs and anaighs, but he just ignored it and looked over his wound. | |

Dark Secret sighed. He saw Rain coming, and stomped his foot. "Don't come any further! They will get you!" He neighed again, then out of controlably, which brought all of the humans to him. He bucked and kicked, the finally gave up with three whip-hits. He huffed and fell to the ground. Some horses were cowering, come were shivering, some were just watching for the fun of it. Dark Secret felt thr sting of the wounds as the hay poked into them. He huffed at Rain. "I promise I will be back! Just leave! I don't want you to suffer." | |

But his leash was tied to a post, and he closed his eyes, as weak as he was. He used his fanal strength to try to break the pole, then fell to the ground, heaving. | |

Dark Secret sighed and got up. He tugged at the rope one more time, but it didn't budge. next thing ya know, the man yells at Dark Secret for trying to escape, then holds up the whip. Dark Secret looked away, and waited for the pain. But it never came. He floowed back to see that the human was waiting to smack it on his muzzle, then he winced. He neighed and tugged harder, blood dripping off of his nose. | |

Dark Secret remembered the days when he was a Foal, when him, Rain, and Spirit used to race. That can't end now because of a rope! He neighed, jumped backwards, and the rope broke off with a startling snap. He flew backwards, skidding on his beck. he lay there for a second, before rolling ovr and panting. He got up, shakily, and limped over to Rain. Hie eyes were half closed, but he saw the human raise a whip, and he quickly gnawed and ripped Rain;s rope. He coughed, then stumbled to one side as it snapped. "Go..." He coughed again and began to limp towards the exit. | |
