Kate; sighs heavily as she struggles, then all of a sudden the demon of demons himself showed up. His husky laughter echoing in her brain. She looked at him, noticing he trailed his fingers over her power and it pulsated darkly. What do you want? her voice shook slightly with fear, though anger resonated through it. His husky laughter was her answer. Devil; Always wanting to jump right into the problem, I must say I'm rather surprised you made it through the last fight alright. he pauses turning musefull. You will make an excellent addition to my minions. Kate; glares at him resentfully Hopefully I'll be free of this deal before then She watches him knowing he was silently laughing at her optimissm That is why you're here isn't it? To tell me how I can finish up my deal? Devil; he laughs knowing he would never let go of Kate, she was too valuable, but he did have something for her to do. Yes. I can't tell you the specifics right now, but I need you to look out for me, there has been a...disturbance, in my kingdom. I need you to keep an eye out for any unusual minions. Kate; growls They're all unusual...are you saying if they don't attack me? Devil; grins No, no Can't tell you that takes the fun out of it With that he touches Kate's power once more, causing it to brighten in a sickening grey before he faded from sight Kate; screams angrily and attacks one of the shadows, regretting it instantly | |

Nessie:"We're staying until tomorrow... but we can always come back." Drew glanced around the meadow, reminding himself that it was only a dream and the strange, gurgling noises he was hearing were only figments of his over-active imagination. The air changed, becoming somewhat denser...Heavier until it became hard for him to breathe. The clouds tumbled in noisily, thinner cracking through the sky. Leaves whistled and lightning hit a nearby tree with a blinding light- a woman with thick, curly brown hair stepping out of the split middle. Instantly, everything was calm. She strode towards him with god-like manner and flashed a dazzling smile. "I am Kalui." She said, her voice twinkling like the worlds most beautiful melody. "You are in danger dear, watch carefully." Drew looked at her quizzically, slightly baffled by her presence. "What were you talking about?" Kalui laughed softly, her eyes twinkling with what-sadness? "Your friend is troubled." Drew scoffs. "I know this." He said defensively, narrowing his eyes at her. Kalui looked him in the eye, her playful banter gone. "Watch her, protect yourselves. If something doesn't feel right, be ready. Nothing is as it seems." She said, hazing slightly around the edges before disappearing completely, leaving a confused Drew in her wake. He thought about what she said and nearly jumped out of his skin when the rustling in the bush got louder, a gruesome creature emerging. It shrieked, making the hair on his arms stand on end and he whimpered. The beast turned its beady,q eyes on him then unexpectedly hurled itself at him, fangs beared...Drew woke, his heart thrumming wildly in his chest. He looked around the room, his breathing slowly returning to normal. | |

Kate; tears herself away from the figure and sits up in the bed with a strangled scream. Her eyes darting to meet Drew's, before stopping to take in his appearance. Her eyes widened and she forced herself to drag her gaze back up to his and focus on quelling the tremors. | |

With a sigh he dropped his head in his hands and sighed, wiping his face on his hand before he looks up at her again. | |
