Daenerys sighed. "We are losing ground to Monroe. It can't continue but I won't risk the dragons. Not when they have those machines. Drogon was lucky this time. Next time he might not be." "The Carringtons recently took over control of electricity to much of the republic. Get them to pull out of the deal." Varys said. "Without power the scorpions (basically giant, advanced crossbows) won't be able to lock on. You could destroy them before Monroe got the power situation fixed." "Very well." Daenerys said. She looked at Drogon who was heading over to the bodies to feed. She didn't want to leave him but he'd be okay. The bleeding had almost stopped. She started walking back to the town. Her entire body was sore from the impact but she was lucky it wasn't worse. "What do you know about them?" Jon hadn't left Lyanna's bedside. She'd mostly been asleep but he wasn't going to risk something else happening to her. As he sat he tried to think of what could have happened but hadn't been able to come up with much. The slavers had made a deal with Octavia and mexico had bigger fish to fry then them. He had questions about the Targaryen but the majority of their forces had left. If they'd wanted to attack it wouldn't have been when the prince and a few guards were there. He sighed and looked at her. His poor girl. | |
