Marcy followed the scent down to the kitchen. It smelled so good. Unlike anything she'd ever smelt. In the future there was just gruel. That was what everybody ate everyday at every meal. There were no animals left so everything was vegan. | |

Dimitri had stayed up most the night to guard. That wasn't unusual for him but with Vanya now he was extra alert. He'd gotten a little bit of sleep but everyone walking around had woken him up so he went down for breakfast, not acting like he was the least bit exhausted. Lissa had fed from Rose late the night before so she was feeling pretty well. She only picked up an apple to eat and sat at the table. She never felt much like eating after drinking. Rose was basically the opposite of Lissa. She was used to losing blood and had a chance to rest after but she was still feeling it a little. That didn't stop her from piling the food on her plate. Even with a dhampir metabolism it was amazing she wasn't 1000 pounds. Adrian was absent. He hadn't drank any more the night before or that morning so he had a killer hangover and was holed up in his room. | |
