It was hard to believe he had spent so long complaining about the match. Roslin tried to keep her face blankly happy but she looked scared and maybe just a little sad. It was easier for him to focus on his current problems than what happened next though. He was tired of war and wanted to go home. Make a nursery for the baby and just be with his family. What was left of it at least. He didn't want to attack Monroe. He didn't want to risk hurting Zoe's father but he also didn't want to see his father's murderer sitting around comfortable for the rest of his life. Why couldn't anything in his life be easy? | |

Robb sat like that, lightly squeezing her hand every once in a while to remind him why he was doing this, until the wedding was over. Then he crowded into the great hall with everyone else. It was packed. Guests had trouble lifting a cup without hitting their neighbor. The places of honor weren't as bad thankfully. That was where Zoe, Robb, Catelyn, Sansa, Roose, and the other high ranking people were seated. Edmure was with Roslin and her family at another table, still absolutely entranced by her. He'd expected some ugly troll. | |

The music was pounding. The noise echoed around the room. Thanks to the freely flowing alcohol the people were getting more and more rambunctious. "Walder must be deaf." Catelyn stated. She couldn't tell what song the band was attempting to play. They were placed up above the guests in what looked like a walkway. Windows behind them were open so the soldiers camped outside were subjected to the racket too. "I don't believe the musicians have ever touched an instrument before." Roose responded dryly. Robb gave him a funny, surprised look. He couldn't recall a time he'd heard the quiet man joke. | |

His stomach flipped but he blamed the quality of the dish and not nerves. Something still felt wrong but the celebration would be over soon and they could leave. Other than Walder's jokes nothing bad had happened to them so he counted them lucky. | |
