Ramsay looked at her. Robb gathered everyone. He sat down at the table with his map. Umber and Edmure sat on the other side of it while Roose and Brynden were standing near them. Catelyn stood next to Sansa with her hand on her daughter's shoulder. It looked like a comforting gesture but she was using her as support. "Are we sure it's true?" Robb asked after everyone had been told. He was struggling to keep his composure. A few minutes longer and then he could be alone with his anger. Grief. Fear. Roose nodded. "I received word of sightings of the iron born in the north. I didn't think anything of it..." "I told you!" Catelyn cried. She couldn't hold her tongue any longer. "I told you to never trust a Greyjoy!" Robb looked down. He didn't trust himself to speak so he started at the map as if thinking. He had agreed with his mother but was hoping she or someone else could talk him out of it. "I must go north at once." He stood up. The chair scrapped loudly against the floor. Roose stepped in front of him blocking his path. "There's still a war to win, your grace." Robb's gaze snapped up to Roose. The man's calm demeanor made him lose his temper. "How can I call myself king if I can't hold my own castle? How can I ask men to follow me if-" "You are a king!" Roose cut in. He hadn't planned this but he could use it for his advantage.
