"It's not the same." Daenerys said. Raven didn't know what she was talking about. If he didn't love her why had he made sure she had food in her belly? A roof over her head? He had even cared enough to keep her out of those wild fantasies she had been prone to as a child. The house with the red door and the lemon tree being her real home. Wanting to be a sailor like the adventurers from the stories she had read as a child. She still remembered the pain she had felt when he twisted her hair when she told him what she was going to be when she was older. He had set her straight, telling her that she was a princess.
