Robb, Sansa, Jon, Mary, Tori, and a small group of others made it to Winterfell after a long journey. Robb had left Jon Umber, otherwise known as Big Jon, in charge of the army while he was away. It had been difficult to leave the war but he had known it was the right thing to do for his family. Arya was still off trying to kill Monroe. Robb grinned when he saw a familiar figure atop the walls of the castle. Bran climbed down to Summer, who was waiting for his master, and they ran over to the group. Bran hugged Robb first, followed by Sansa and then Jon. | |

The wolves, including all too serious Grey Wind, happily greeted each other. They chatted briefly and went inside the castle where Catelyn and Rickon were waiting along with other people. Zoe did not escape Cat's notice but she was more focused on her children, who also got large hugs from her. Jon stayed back, looking gloomy. | |

But winterfell brought out the worst in him because of the constant reminder that it wasn't his home. He averted his gaze when Catelyn looked at him. | |
