Janine walked over to them. "Where have you been?" Rose smiled bitterly. Of course she wouldn't get a hello or how have you been. Not even a why did you leave. "Oh you know. Around. Partying. Fighting. Doing my best to ruin your perfect reputation and being a general pain to everyone. The normal. But I guess you wouldn't know what the normal is, would you, Mom?" Lissa looked uncomfortable. She hated how much Rose and her mom fought. She wished Rose would realize how lucky she was to have one, even if she wasn't great.

"I'm surprised you even recognized me." Rose said. Janine watched her. Like Dimitri, she didn't show anything thanks to her guardian mask. Just another way the two were nothing alike. Not that they needed anything else. She looked nothing like her daughter. Standing at only five foot tall and with pale skin and red hair they were complete opposites. "Don't take that tone with me. What you did was inexcusible and you know it." Lissa looked at Klaus for help.
Jill quietly shut the door and followed. She should tell her parents she was leaving but what could she say? A guy from the future wanted her to go with him? They'd ship her right back to the academy. "So who are we spying on?" | |
