Jeremy knew the pair were struggling which was why he had decided to send them. He could have easily asked clay or even clay and Sam but he wanted them to make up. Or at least start acting civilly. Anger like Elena had was dangerous to the pack. Lucia was really trying to avoid staring at or mentioning the chair. She wanted to know what had happened but knew it wasn't polite to.
