Nick looked around Kate whined and put her ears back. This was not good. She looked around and sniffed. Alone in a cage surrounded by mutts and reeking of humans. She wasn't dead yet so that was a good sign. She pawed at the muzzle. If she wanted a chance to get out she needed to get that off. Being a wolf gave her an advantage in fighting but only if she could bite. | |

"Is it okay if I go see him?" Nick asked Kate tried to ignore them for the moment. It was easier to focus on her small task of removing the muzzle than the bigger one of escaping. That's not to say she was rolling over and letting people rub her belly though. If anyone got too close she would growl at them. Not that she was particularly scary. Being one of the smallest members of the pack, and with her blue eyes and light fur, she looked more like a family pet than the big bad wolf. Her growls could easily be taken as signs of fear more than the agression they really were. No one ever expected a girl that looked like Kate to be as angry as she was. | |
