On her best days she had a hard time tolerating humans but lately she wanted even less to do with them. Especially idiotic ones like this lady who got too close for her liking. | |

She smiled, completely missing Kate's mood. She even moved closer to Kate when she tried to back away and looked around, thinking she had been in someone's way. "How far along are you, dear?" Kate answered with only the number of weeks. She did not want to extend this conversation. "Oh!" The woman said. Kate was rather huge by human standards, considering werewolves were pregnant for about 6 months. She laughed a little. "You must be having a few." Kate looked at Sirius pleadingly. | |

It was short lived though, as the woman became concerned and began questioning her about what was wrong and saying how she had to be careful because of the baby, as if Kate didn't know that. Kate had enough when she tried to touch her belly. She grabbed the woman's arm. "Do not touch me." She growled. A human who decided to touch her in general was taking their life in their own hands but no one beside trusted family members could get that close to the baby. | |

Kate locked eyes with the woman, challenging her, while she tried to shrink away. Part of her recognized something was very inhuman about Kate which terrified her. Luckily Sirius caused enough of a distraction to make Kate release her so she could go back to her group. Kate marched out of the restaurant once the stranger was far enough away. She didn't know why Sirius had done that. She hadn't started it and she had thought she had handled it pretty well. | |
