Mary had been at James's home for a few days. She had no idea what to do. She wrote to some of the nobles who hadn't attacked the castle asking for help but hadn't heard anything back yet. So she often spent time outside, trying to convince herself she was on holiday instead of hiding to save her life. After a ride, one that took her farther away from the house than she really should have been, she rushed back to the house. While out she had seen a large group of the patriots building a very large town in her country. | |
