"I wouldn't if Jer made it." Came Clay's voice from the hall. He poked his head into the room. "We're better off digging through the trash for whatever was left from dinner last night." Jeremy smiled ever so slightly. "Thank you for you input, Clayton, but it shouldn't be too bad. Pearl made it. I'm just heating it up." Pearl was a human who had made their food for years. They didn't hire her as much anymore but Jeremy still felt obligated to get food from her sometimes since she needed the money. "So you're saying that there's still a chance it can go wrong then."
