Jon went closer and noticed that most of the people were gathered around something. He hopped off his horse and went to investigate. He was disgusted by what he saw. They were cheering over a dog fight although he was hesitant to call it a fight. One of the dogs wasn't fighting and was trying to get away. Raelyn watched him. He had to say something. She wasn't sure if he'd actually done what they'd said but she couldn't condemn her uncle even if he had. But she'd wanted to at least seem fair in her dismissal. And if she was being honest she wanted one of her family members there. She wasn't her mother. She wasn't a ruler. The mob scared her. | |

Jon pushed his way through the crowd. "Enough. Make it end now." He knew things like this were common with these people. He couldn't stop it in their cities but he could here. When no one moved he jumped into the makeshift ring. That caused the man who had spoken to Octavia to shout orders for the dog's owner to call it off.
