Aemond nodded. Dalton was still hanging around Alex's place when he heard a commotion by the entrance. Much was changing down in Mexico. The country had mostly ignored the cartels and ever changing pop up leaders over the years, so long as they paid well, but lately there had been an above average number of assassinations. So they'd begun to crack down on non sanctioned leaders. Including those in control of the slave cities (Meereen, Yunkai, and Astapor). After Daenerys had left the government she'd put in place had quickly been disposed of and new masters had taken over. Masters who had no loyalty to the real Mexican government. So they sent envoys to Octavia to ask for help. They set up a small encampment a respectable distance away from her base while three members went to speak to her. | |
