She had gotten her table set up and killed time until her scheduled time. She popped a pill, one that she had taken since a child to calm her nerves, and waited. It wasn't long before her excitement and dream got totally crushed again. She had maybe two people come over, and that was just to ask if any of her siblings were going to show up. | |

Lissa and Rose headed to the bookstore. Rose wasn't much of a reader, it had taken her almost an entire year to finish a book on a bet, but Lissa wanted to go and as her guardian she tagged along. Lissa wanted to get her book signed by Vanya. She had picked it up on a whim and had actually enjoyed it even though it wasn't her normal read. So she was ecstatic to hear the author was coming. She had heard of these types of events but didn't really know what to expect. It certainly wasn't the desolation that she saw when she walked in. She and Rose went up to the table. | |
