Rose and Lissa were still staying with Connor, Sandy, and everyone and were planning on staying there until they were no longer wanted. While neither girl considered it their home, both refused to even unpack their meager belongings for fear of getting attached to the place, they did more of their fair share of chores. Rose was overjoyed to be outside and, surprisingly to lissa at least, jumped at the chance to do anything on the oversized property. Lissa didn't feel the same. She liked the outdoors okay but couldn't do much of anything that was in the sun so mostly stayed inside. She helped cook and clean and even started to become okay at cooking. She didn't blow up microwaves anymore. That particular day Rose was helping Connor do something but was... off. Normally she was incredibly graceful, almost like a cat, but was practically falling over herself while working. Her skin was pale and despite the hard work she kept her hair down, covering her neck. She had fed lissa the night before and hadn't fully recovered. Connor had taken note of that. He had noticed strange things about the girls but never thought much of them. That is, until rose absentmindedly brushed her hair away from her neck and he saw twin puncture marks on her skin. All the weird things hit him and he couldn't believe it. Sweet little lissa was a vampire. He didn't know what to do. She clearly was hurting Rose and she could do that to someone else. So he excused himself and called Dean. | |
