Annie was wrapping last minute gifts in her room. Emily sighed softly as she got the stuff Ruby had bought for everybody out and wrapped. Ruby had always shopped early in the season. Evan was uncomfortably trying to stay out of the crowd. | |

Kate was excited. She loved Christmas. Getting to hang out with everyone, getting gifts, and best of all, the food. Logan was excited as well but to a lesser degree. Elena had always liked celebrating Christmas but it was bitter sweet. Spending time with her parents on Christmas was some of her only memories of them. Then having to be alone all of those years didn't make it any easier nick didn't really understand the big deal about Christmas, it had never been a big thing with him or his family, but he tried to get into it for his family. Clay didn't understand Christmas at all. He knew the reasoning behind it, and could compare it with mithraic traditions, but no one wanted to hear his lectures. | |

Emily finished up and brought down the gifts from Ruby. She put them under the tree and went over to Clay. "Are you doing okay?" She knew this had to be hard for him. He had been acting really strange while Ruby was sick and she could guess why. Sam was okay with the festivities. He didnt really need it but it was nice getting together with everyone. Sirius walked up to the door. He raised his hand and hesitated before knocking, not sure if he would be welcome here. But it was cold and he had to try. He bit his lip and knocked on the door. | |

Emily laughed. "I just figured it was because of the bigger house." She was happy to hear him chuckle. At least that meant that he wasnt bored and wasn't upset. Sirius smiled. "It is an adaptation. Most holidays are. Christians took a lot of things from the Pagans." It would be nice to be able to spend Christmas with somebody. He just wished it was with one of his friends.
