History: Aurora Blake, mother, was forced to keep her second pregnancy a secret because of the one-child law on the Ark. A young Bellamy watched as his mother gave birth to his sister and helped to keep her quiet after the birth. Once the child was born, Aurora told Bellamy to name her. He had learned about the Roman emperor, Augustus, and named his sister after the emperor's sister, Octavia. Aurora told Bellamy that Octavia was his responsibility. He tells baby Octavia that he loves her very much and promises to keep her safe, no matter what may happen. Since Octavia was an illegal second child, she had to be kept secret from everyone or else their mother would be killed for her crime. Octavia was kept hidden in their room, never able to venture out. Bellamy would read her stories and play with her, and tell her about the Ark. Their mother would also read them mythology, which Octavia and Bellamy loved. In order to find out about the surprise inspections ahead of time, Aurora was sleeping with an Ark Guard that she and Bellamy resented, and she was also trying to get Bellamy a position on the guard. During these inspections, Octavia was forced to hide under the floorboards and wait quietly until they were done. Octavia hated doing this so Bellamy told her to tell herself, "I am not afraid", in which she did and it helped her to calm down. Octavia was finally exposed a year before the 100 were sent to Earth. Bellamy had become an Ark Guard Cadet and was able to get duty during the Unity Day masquerade party. He sneaks Octavia out of their room for the first time in her life so she could attend, promising her that he'll keep her safe and deliver her home before their mother even knows they're gone. The party is disrupted by a solar flare alert, requiring everyone to show ID. Since Octavia didn't have an ID, they knew they would be caught. Bellamy tells her to go straight back to their room and hide while he creates a distraction but Octavia doesn't know how to get back. Commander Shumway notices that Bellamy has his shock baton out and starts to question him when he asks Octavia for her ID. Bellamy lies that he's already checked her but Commander Shumway realizes the lie quickly. Octavia tries to run but is easily captured. She is imprisoned and their mother executed. Bellamy loses his position as a Guard Cadet and is demoted to janitor. Over the next year, Bellamy is unable to see Octavia in lock-up. One day he is approached by Commander Shumway who tells him that 100 prisoners are being sent to the ground, among them his sister. He offers Bellamy the chance to go to Earth and protect Octavia but only if he kills Thelonious Jaha. Bellamy accepts the deal and after shooting Jaha, he is able to sneak onto the dropship by posing as a guard and stows away till they are on the ground.

She has a rebellious tomboyish attitude and is very independent.

History: Raven grew up living on Mecha Station. Raven's mother would often exchange Raven's rations for moonshine, leaving Raven dependent on Finn Collins, the boy next door, who shared his rations with her and remembered her birthday. Throughout the years, the two grew closer and at some point, they started a romantic relationship. Around Raven's 18th birthday, Finn presented her with a handmade metal raven trinket on a chain for good luck on her Zero-G exam. She passed the test with the first perfect score since they had been giving it, however, she failed the physical due to a heart murmur. Later, Finn tells her he has another birthday present for her. He borrowed a spacesuit from the Maintenance Bay and has found a way to get her the spacewalk she had always dreamed of. After Raven's illegal spacewalk while she was getting undressed, an alarm sounded an "outer door breach." Raven tried to figure out where the door breach was but ended up instructing Finn to use the manual override to get her back into the Ark. In doing so, the breach lost three months of oxygen. Finn then instructed Raven to take off the spacesuit for him to wear because Raven was over eighteen and would have been floated whereas Finn was still underage. While Finn was in Lockup, Raven would go see him every Visitation Day. Later, Sinclair overruled Raven's health rejection for Zero-G Mechanic and she went on to become the youngest Zero-G Mechanic in 52 years.

Following in her mother's footsteps, Clarke became a medical apprentice. In a video from Clarke's childhood, Clarke, and Wells, practice for the Unity Day Celebration. As Thelonious records their practice, Wells asks his father how the Ark stays in space. Clarke mentions that her dad told her it is the thrusters. Thelonious tells her that her father is correct. A year before the delinquents are sent to earth, Clarke overhears a conversation between her parents, Abigail Griffin and Jake Griffin, discussing a flaw in the Ark's life-support system and that it is failing. Later that day, Clarke plays chess with Wells. Clarke, distracted by the news, starts losing the game. Wells notices something is wrong with Clarke and questions her. Clarke swears him to secrecy and tells him about the flaw as well as her father's plan to go public. After coming home, Clarke overhears her father making a video revealing the truth about the Ark's oxygen crisis. She confronts him about the truth and yells at her father, calling him suicidal or dumb because he plans to break into the communications mainframe. Clarke insists on helping him but her father tells her no. Moments later, the door to their home opens and the Ark Guard arrest Jake for treason. Clarke hugs him and promises to warn the people. She struggles with the guards who hold her back as her father is taken away. Clarke finds her father before his execution and is able to say one final goodbye before Jake is floated for his crime. Clarke watches as her father is sucked out of the airlock and cries in her mother's arms. Clarke repeatedly apologizes, thinking her father's death was her fault. Her mother insists it was not her fault. After her father is floated, Clarke is immediately arrested for treason and sent to solitary confinement in juvenile lockup.

Instead of let it get him down, Keenan took this as an opportunity later in life to have his own city which he ruled with both an iron fist and with surprising care. He genuinely loved his people, but outsiders were something to be toyed with and used, shown by his utter lack of feeling when buying Abel and Judith from another group.

But after years, she never said anything, knowing that there wouldn't be anything worse than the Monroe Republic with electricity. She had to help him get it, however, when her son was captured to keep him form being executed. Charlie, Miles, and their group did rescue her and Danny, but not in time to keep Monroe from getting electricity and moving South to conquer more land.

Personality: Bass is charming with an all-or-nothing personality. He exhibited a strong loyalty to Miles, but he didn't care much about the Republic or the men they were leading, which shows in his lack of interest in keeping the Militia in check. With most of the women he has interacted with, he exhibits a charismatic, suave persona that is meant to put them at ease and easier to manipulate.

History: Monroe had a normal childhood. He grew up with miles, and when they became adults, enlisted with him in the Marine Corps. He served two tours of duty in Iraq. While he was stationed at Parris Island, his parents and two younger sisters were killed by a drunk driver while on their way to a Harry Potter movie. He nearly committed suicide at their graves, but Miles talked him out of it. After the outbreak, he left with Miles, and later on created the Republic with him, but showed little interest in the upkeep of the militia. That was Miles' job. He was stunned when his best friend tried to kill him, and mentally suffered greatly after it.

History: Victoria was orphaned when her father, one of Mary's soldiers, was killed while fighting Monroe. Her mother had died during childbirth. She wandered, homeless and scared, for months until she came across Mary and her little group and was taken in by Mary.

Personality: Elizabeth is a lot like her mother in many ways. She's pretty quiet and proper most of the time, however she has a wild streak that leads her into trouble on occasion.

History: Elizabeth was born after the fall of Mary's country. She has no idea that she's a princess and was raised like any other child, albeit a very protected one. Unfortunately for her instead of living with Mary, she lives with her uncle James and Victoria because Mary thought it was too dangerous for Elizabeth to stay with her.

After taking over the huge amount of land that Mary controlled, Monroe quickly captured Texas, the southern free territory, and was making his way into Mexico. Connor was his second in command and enjoying a good life.

Sebastian started to reach for his sword when Octavia attacked Mary but thought better of it. He wouldn't win a fight when she had all these guards. He settled for a glare.

Octavia continued on down the line, doing the same thing she had done before. Before pong she weeded out the "useless" people. "Okay, listen up!" She called, making sure the living could all hear her. "I am your queen now. You will be gathering food, weapons, and people for me. You will have a set amount to give me each time i come. I WILL get that amount. I dont care if it takes everything you have. If you do not provide the requested amount i will kill some of you. If you grow some balls and try to fight back your group will die."

Sebastian had pulled Mary close to him during all of that. He murmured comforting things to her that did little. She just kept staring at Greer. Poor poor Greer. Who had paid with her life for something Mary had done. She would never forgive herself.

Octavia glared at everyone. "We'll be back in a week or so. I expect that you'll be wise and have my supplies." With another nod at the other people they went back to the cars. Some of the grounders obviously looked terrified of her. They wouldn't look at the bodies or make direct eye contact with her.

Sebastian was already coming up with a plan. The first step would be to get Mary out of there. She couldn't stay where there was this much danger. Then he would get a group together to take over and rescue the remaining ladies. He didn't fear for his life. He would die to protect the people who couldn't protect themselves.
