Clay finally got it, and even if his brain still didn't quite understand what it was, his body did. His lips parted hers and he shivered from the feel of her, the smell and taste of her, and his hormones kicked into overdrive, like when he had been 16 and finally hitting puberty. Feeling everything and not having a dammed clue what to do about it. Now he knew. He'd found- Shit! Was she kissing him back? He could feel her lips moving. Or was he moving them with his? An imagine shot into his brain: Ruby's face, frozen in horror, too shocked to push him away. Then he felt the hand on his cheek. That was it, she didn't want this. He pulled back. "Shit.
