"The only way I'm sharing a room with a human is if I'm dead." Clay said with a laugh. "Even then I'm not so sure." "Yep." Nick said. "It's going to need a lot of work but I probably would have redone pretty much everything anyway." Elena sighed and looked down. Why couldn't she be happy like this? It wasn't as if she was miserable. She loved being with Dean and John, when he was around, and she felt good knowing that they were helping people. But she also wanted more out of life. She just wanted to try to be normal for a little while. "You'll be fine." Jeremy said. He was glad that mutts for the most part left them alone now but he hated what clay had done. It had taken him a while to hear about it but when he had, he had felt sick. Knowing his adopted son was capable of such things... it wasn't right. He didn't have the skill nor the inclination to fix the place up himself. "Me? Never. Hopefully the guys I hire will be." "I'll still help you when I can." Elena said. She wanted to believe that but she knew that it was a long shot. After she got a job and started going to school she was going to be busy. "I'm worried about how dad will react." If there was ever a time to swear, Jeremy thought it would be in that instant. Of course he didn't though. He wouldn't do that. Clay may accept a new pack member- eventually- but as a roommate? "It's completely unfair that they expect me to share a five by five foot room with someone else." Clay said. He knew the room was bigger that that but not by much. It didn't help that he was used to Stonehaven. He longed for the room to run more than anything. He felt like he was constantly locked up in the cage there. "I could use your help with figuring out the floor plan and decorating it." Nick said. He thought that he could do the job himself but it wouldn't hurt to have another opinion. Elena nodded a little.
