Okay Clay had gone to school in Syracuse for a few years for his undergrad work then had moved to Columbia university after. Dominic had offered to let him stay with them while he was in New York but clay said no to please Jeremy. He stayed in the dorms but somehow all his roommates ended up finding other places to live. Nick pretty much had done nothing different over the years. He didn't go to college and spent most of his time partying or just hanging out at his house. He had invested in a few weird projects, like building a nightclub, but they always lost money. Usually quite a lot of it. Antonio didn't seem to mind and kept funding his sons random whims. Lucia had somewhat accepted her life as a werewolf but never seemed to join in the pack. When she graduated school she informed Jeremy that she was leaving to go on tour with her band. Of course Jeremy wasn't happy with that with what had happened to peter but trusted her enough to give her a chance. She still showed up to pack meets but her phone calls were becoming fewer and fewer as time went on. After moving in with that foster family, Elena had never been the same. She never said what had happened to her but clearly something had occurred. Once John finally picked them up, she threw herself into hunting and became really good. | |

Sure enough Ruby's grandmother did move to Chicago just after they got back. Ruby stayed at her house and ended up dropping out of highschool as she couldn't afford it on her own. She took up a couple part time jobs to try to pay the mortgage. She still had her chickens and mainly ate eggs. Emily had started a couple small college classes as well but she didnt really know what she wanted to do so she never got very far. She spent a lot of time with Nick and normally would ask for a job at his projects. Sam was doing pretty good with his new life. Like Clay he had started college and was doimg very well at it. He stayed in the dorms. However, he still missed his family so much. Dean had helped Elena as much as he could. He would take her along on some of his hunts. | |

Clay was in his dorm room after class so he decided to call ruby. Luckily his last room and decided sharing a room with clay wasn't something he wanted to do and left so he had the room to himself for the time being. Nick pulled up at Stonehaven. After the night club fell through he decided to try to build a simple bar. Maybe upgrade it to be something better at some point. He wanted to know if Emily wanted in on this one too. John had left for another hunt and given Dean and Elena their own to work on. He had been hesitant to do that but figured at their age they could handle themselves. Especially since they should be sticking together. Elena was currently doing some research into what they were after. She had never heard of this kind of thing but that wasn't too odd. John normally didn't give them anything too difficult. | |

Clay sighed, more from the lack of being home than her comment. "I'll be home Friday. Same as every week." It was just too long for him to drive back every night. "I'd be there if I could." Nick gave her a quizzical look. He clearly didn't have an idea of what she was talking about. He didn't pay attention in school. The only reason he had graduated was because of his family's sizable donations. He hesitated before saying, "I'm opening a bar." "No I'll handle it. Or hell, nick throws away money like it's going out of style. Talk to him." Nick told her where it was. It wasn't in the city exactly but pretty close to it. If he actually stuck with the project it would probably end pretty well for him. "As if I would let you drive after going to a bar." Elena replied with a small smirk. "I'm not suicidal." | |

Ruby grinned. "I appreciate the idea but I cant ask for money for something that is mine. I wouldnt feel right about it." The truth was she didnt always mind the work. Sometimes it was hard but most of the time it gave her something to do. Its not like she could get a much better job anyway. Emily nodded. "That's a good spot. Clay wanted to growl but held it back. He couldn't force her to do anything, although sometimes he wanted to. "Can't you at least take off for a little bit?" "No not right now. It's... what do they call it? Up and coming or something." Nick said. "Figured I could get in on it before it started getting super popular." Elena flashed a smile at him before getting in the car. Jeremy picked up after a few rings. He considered letting it go to voicemail but thought better of it. "Hello?" | |
