To protect her and make sure she was happy. Which sent his brain reeling to figure out why he felt this way about her. He never had felt like this before so why did he care so much about someone he had met relatively recently? | |

As soon as he saw his mustang he quickened his pace and jerked the door open for her to get in. He knew it was unnecessary to have kept her as close as he had when escorting her out but he didn't care. | |

He didn't exactly know why he was so clingy either but his best guess was that it had been caused by the idea of losing her. When she had gotten mad and wanted nothing to do with him it made him realize that he needed her in his life. | |
