Clay didn't say a word in response. He lunged and grabbed Paul. They toppled over, fighting and clawing and kicking. Clay didn't even notice when he was hit. He was in a blind rage over this useless waste of space mutt taking ruby. Paul, on the other hand, quickly realized he wasn't going to win this fight. He managed to get away but only made it a few feet before clay grabbed him again. The pair went down again but this time there was no fighting. There was a snap and for a moment neither moved. | |
