Those who remained lived at the sanctuary still with varying degrees of acceptance of Daryl taking over after Negan's defeat and imprisonment. Tara had stayed with him but only recently brought the kids over to live there although Abel often went back to the main group to stay with Jax. She despised being at the sanctuary and having the kids there only made it worse. She was almost constantly worried about their safety. | |

Unfortunately, Sadie was more than a little curious about her new home and wandered away from her. The girl was used to rick's group and had little fear of other people because of that. So she explored and managed to find her way outside. That's where she saw Justin and some other people moving walkers around for defense. She went closer which was a bad idea. One of the walkers had broken free and went after her. Luckily, Sadie was smart enough to avoid it and ran away. She practically ran into Daryl before finally stopping. | |
