Elena wagged her tail when he finally gave her his full attention. She turned and walked away, expecting him to follow her. Kate ran from her. With her smaller frame it was easier for her to get through the dense underbrush. Logan followed them. It looked like he might be chasing them but he wasn't. Clay gave her a quizzical look, wondering what she wanted. He didn't mind her company but he thought she would rather spend her time with someone else. | |

Sam scanned the area one last time before going following Elena. Emily chased her. She was fairly petite for a werewolf but was still bigger than her. Ruby looked back and forth between Jeremy and Elena, understanding that he had a struggle. | |

Elena didn't want to leave her pack but she wanted to go do a sweep of the area to make sure nothing was lurking in their safe haven. Then she could convince Sam to play or maybe even go for a swim before starting a pack hunt. Kate, once she thought she had a big enough gap between them, darted away and found a tiny spot to hide. Her yellowish blonde fur did little to help her hide from Emily. Clay whined quietly when ruby looked between his wards. He knew she would understand his problem more than most other pack members. Nick especially would taunt his over protectiveness. | |

Elena made a sweep around a wide area circling the pack. Once she was certain there was nothing that could hurt anyone, she turned to Sam. She wagged her tail. Kate waited until Emily was close to her and lunged out of her hiding spot. She tried to land on emily's back and grab her scruff. Clay looked really uncomfortable now that Elena had left the group. He would take a step toward where she had gone then go back to Jeremy. | |

Emily faked a surprised yelp and dramatically collapsed under her. Ruby watched Clay. She softly whined at him and nudged him towards Jeremy. Elena had Sam to protect her. | |

Elena wagged her tail. She then took off, heading toward the pond. She wanted to go for a swim and she was pretty sure that he would followed her. If not no big deal. Kate looked incredibly happy and proud of herself. She pinned her down. Clay gave her a thankful look for the gentle push and went to Jeremy's side. He still felt bad for not protecting Elena, his alpha, but he still had to keep Jeremy safe | |

Elena swam around. She was happy just to be with Sam for a few minutes. She could process all that was going on. Nick gave her a mock thrashing. Kate fought against him, weaseled her way out from under him, nipped at him, then playbowed. She was glad to include another person in their games Clay tilted his head. He sniffed her, trying to see it something was wrong. | |

Sam had waited at the waters edge to start with, sniffing for any danger. After he was comfortable he waded into the water as well. Emily wagged her tail. She watched them play, waiting for her opportunity. When it came she ran over, nipping both Nick and Kate. Ruby looked at him. Nothing was wrong. She was just lonely and bored so she figured she would hang out with them. | |

Elena glanced over when he didn't get right in. Once he did, she swam over to him. Kate looked really happy. She played with Emily for a little bit before she ran away. She came back with a large stick in her mouth. Nick wagged his tail at Emily. He nipped her back. Clay didn't understand that. He really thought something was wrong. He took s step back and watched her. Jeremy did. He nudged clay toward ruby and started to walk away. | |
