Personality: Clay is smart, really smart. He once got a 160 on an iq test. He is also brutal and vicious. Some say it's because he was bitten so young, then went feral. You can take the boy out of the wild but you can't take the wolf out of the boy. Even though he is like that, he can also be very kind to some people, mostly Jeremy and Elena.

History: nothing is known about clays past before he turned roughly 6. He was bitten and turned into a werewolf. He could change forms freely between the two, making him the youngest person to do so. He was eventually taken in by Jeremy because his real parents were no where to be found. Jeremy raised him as his own. Jeremy also brought nick and Antonio (his oldest friend) to Stonehaven so clay could have a playmate, nick is only about a year older than him. The age difference didn't matter much to clay, and he would constantly pick on the older boy, sometimes tying him up to trees after he was done playing and leaving him there, not telling anyone where he was. After a while clay became less feral and became the pack enforcer. One day he met Elena, and instantly fell in love. A few months later, he proposed to her and she accepted. He took her to Stonehaven to meet Jeremy, where Jeremy thought Elena saw him change. He was going to kill her, but before he could clay bit her. He knew she could survive the bite. But Jeremy banished him from the pack for a few months afterwards. But he came back after a while and everything was fine until Elena left to be "human" again, leaving clay heartbroken and even more violent, if that was possible.

History: nick was born into the pack and had a pretty nice life. When he was about 7 he moved in with clay and Jeremy and his father to be a playmate with clay, them being 2 of the three pups in the pack at the moment. He would get beaten up all the time by the younger boy, even wetting his pants a few times because of the treatment he received. He grew up with clay, and it is mostly because of him and Jeremy that clay isn't feral anymore.

History: Jeremy was born into the pack to an abusive father. His father never liked him, and spent his life tormenting his son. When he was older, Jeremy and his father, Malcolm, fought over who was alpha, Jeremy won. When he was in his 30's, he got word of a feral werewolf boy living in the swamps of Louisiana. He went down there and spent weeks just trying to get close to the boy. Eventually he rescued him and brought him back to Stonehaven and raised him, clay, as his son.

Personality: Marshall is a pretty quiet kid who likes to spend his time outside with animals more than with most people, although he's close with his group of friends. The best way to describe him is as a dreamer.

History: Marshall was born into a good but fairly poor family. His mother is a loving woman who spends her time taking caring for her family and animals in need. They always have tons of creatures around the house (Marshall's favorite being Leona an owl with an injured wing and eye). His father is a no nonsense workaholic who spends a lot of time away from the house trucking used car parts the family fixes up across the country. His brothers, Marty (an Ernest Hemingway enthusiast and wannabe filmmaker) and mark (who thinks he's a lady's man) love to torment their younger brother by many different means, such as tying him to a chair, dropping him into a deep swimming pool, and throwing firecrackers at him. They do love him, though, and begrudgingly let him tag along on their road trip to film endangered animals. Leon (a friend of the family) rounds out everyone at the house which sets on the edge of town on a smaller farm.

Personality: Noah isn't the brightest boy in the world nor is he the biggest or tallest. That's not his fault though as his mother drank when she was pregnant with him leaving him with FAE. History: Noah was born to a mother that didn't want him. He never knew his father. His mom drank all the time and didn't care about him. Some years later his mom remarried a born again Christian who didn't want him. Lots of beatings later, Noah ran away. Which is when he experienced his first change. With the help of a too nice mutt, he learned to control his changes... And how to steal. He hated that life though and went to the pack for help.

History: Morgan was raised in a fishing community in Newfoundland with his brother by his father. They never went around other werewolves and his father, wanting to keep them isolated, told his sons horror stories about the pack. Other than living in constant fear of his own kind, Morgan grew up pretty normally. He went to college and got a job, but hated it with a passion. So he quit and went to live as a wolf for an experiment and to find himself.

Personality: Malcolm is a mean man. He wants things done his way, and if they aren't, he will get rid of whoever stands in his way. He especially hates his son, Jeremy, for many reasons, and took his rage out on him for years.

History: Malcolm grew up as a main member of the pack. He despised his weak father, Edward, and would have killed him if Edward wouldn't have a list of all the bad things he had done in his life to the alpha. Malcolm spent years trying to have a son, and when he finally did, he hated him because he was born from a Japanese mother that wasn't human. He killed both the mother of her child, and her mother, and was going to kill his son before Edward stopped him and promised to raise his son. This made Malcolm incredibly mad since he raised Jeremy to be weak. After fighting, and losing, the battle of alpha to Jeremy, he left the pack.

Personality: Dustin was an observer and a protector of the unity within the friend group. He frequently resolved the conflicts within the group by drawing their attention to what was going on around them. He had a neutral, level-headed approach to Eleven and the supernatural events unfolding around them; in some ways, he was a negotiator between the open-minded Mike and the sceptical Lucas. Dustin is also the most scientifically inclined of the group (despite his love of fantasy) and may be the most intelligent of the quartet.

History: Dustin met Lucas, Mike, Marshall, and Will when he arrived at their school in fourth grade, growing a strong bond with them and becoming best friends. They would often gather at Mike's house to play Dungeons & Dragons. The four boys had a great relationship with their science teacher Mr. Clarke, and they were members in the AV Club he ran. They would take part in the annual science fair, winning almost every year.

History: Lucas was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair, living with them in Hawkins, Indiana. He was best friends with Mike Wheeler and Will Byers from a young age.

After witnessing Eleven's psychic powers, Mike became faithful to the idea that she could help find Will. History: Mike is a member of the Wheeler family, living in Hawkins, Indiana with his mother Karen, his father Ted, and his two sisters Nancy and Holly. Nancy suspected their parents never truly loved one another and that they married solely to have a "perfect nuclear family." While in kindergarten, Mike met and befriended Will Byers.

Personality: Raised in Hawkins National Laboratory and completely deprived of socialization, Eleven was timid, socially withdrawn and extremely cautious of other people. However, she became fiercely protective and showed unyielding loyalty towards those who cared for her to the point of sacrificing herself to destroy the Monster when it threatened to harm her friends. The painful experiences of her punishment at Hawkins Lab lead her to develop severe claustrophobia. She also showed some signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, frequently remembering her harrowing experiences at the lab following her escape. Due to a very limited vocabulary, she could not effectively communicate her thoughts and emotions and had little to no understanding of simple concepts such as friendships or promises. These difficulties communicating often lead to misunderstandings with her friends. Despite this, she was a quick learner and came up with creative ways of explaining concepts. History: Her mother, named Terry Ives, participated in the controversial government program known as MKUltra. As a test subject, Terry would take part in experiments involving psychedelic drugs and sensory deprivation. Unbeknownst to Terry, she had somehow become pregnant during this period. She gave birth to a girl, naming her Jane. Due to the experimentation on Terry, Jane was born with various extraordinary psychokinetic abilities. Immediately after her birth, she was abducted and raised by Dr. Martin Brenner. Growing up in Hawkins Lab, she was not referred to by her given name, instead being labeled as “011,” indicating her place as a test subject. Brenner built himself up as a father figure in the mind of Eleven, making her refer to him as "Papa." While Terry believed her daughter was still alive, Terry's sister believed Jane never existed. Due to her birth being covered up as a miscarriage, there were no birth certificates or medical records of Eleven's existence, allowing her to be the "perfect human test subject." Eleven was trained by the government in Hawkins National Laboratory. Through tests, scientists wished to discover and enhance the extent of her psychic abilities. She was the subject of at least four experiments. To punish her for any failures, Eleven was often dragged into and locked in a solitary cell for great periods of time, the experience of which severely traumatized her with a fear of confinement. Eleven was found drenched in rain in the forest by Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson as they searched for their missing friend Will Byers.

Because of this, Jonathan became a much larger role model for him than their father. Ultimately, Joyce and Lonnie divorced, resulting with Lonnie moving out. Joyce, Jonathan and Will remained at their home in Hawkins, Indiana. He met Mike on the first day of kindergarten and instantly accepted his request to be friends, a memory which Mike would always treasure.

According to Joyce, Jonathan wanted to go to New York University ever since he was six years old. This could have been driven by his love for photography.

History: Hopper wasn't exactly the model student while in high school; on at least one occasion, he lied to his mother about his whereabouts, so he could secretly hook up with girls. Jim served in the Vietnam War. He later married a woman named Diane and moved to New York where he worked in the police force. Together they had a daughter, Sara. However, Sara was diagnosed with cancer. Despite receiving cutting-edge chemotherapy treatment, Sara was unable to recover, passing away at a young age. After her passing, Jim and Diane divorced. He moved back to Hawkins where he became Police Chief at Hawkins Police Department, a largely carefree occupation due to the town's low crime rate. Hopper started to rely on alcohol and prescription medication to get through his days and began sleeping around with women much younger than himself.
