History: he had a pretty rotten childhood which you should ask him about. He moved out of his mom's house before the age of 18. He joined metallica, an up and coming thrash metal band but they kicked him out due to his drug habits. So he started his own band, called Megadeth.

Personality: Vane is a fearless, violent, and passionate man with a vicious temper. He is a skilled and cunning fighter, with sword, fists or pistol; one of the best in the series. He's also one of the best pirate captains in Nassau. His career is so notorious that other captains sheepishly back down as soon as his name is mentioned. While Vane tends to think with his fists first, he is highly intelligent, cunning, observant, and understands the ways of power better than most. Vane was raised a slave, and still bears Albinus's distinctive brand on his chest. He now despises slavers, and this fuels his desire for freedom for himself and on a grander scale for Nassau. He lives his life by his own set of rules that he refuses to break.

History: In his youth, Vane was an indentured child labourer, held captive by Albinus. At some point he escaped from captivity, but due to the fact that it is unclear when exactly he escaped, it was most likely as a young boy because his former captain, although remembering his former slave's name, did not recognize him. At some time in his adult life, Vane became a pirate and the protege of the notorious Edward Teach, joining a growing pirate community on New Providence Island. It was there where he met Jack Rackham and his lover, Anne Bonny, who joined his crew, the former becoming his quartermaster. At some point Vane obtained the Ranger, which he made his flagship.

Personality: Jack is the brains behind captain Charles Vane's brawn. He is stylish, witty, well-read, and very proud of his wits, which he takes every opportunity to flaunt. However, Rackham is initially not a very good pirate. He's not a skilled fighter and his attempts at strategy usually land him in dire situations, his lover Bonny must bail him out of. His foppish appearance and effete mannerisms tend to lead others to underestimate him, and he can't seem to gain respect. He's ever fixated on his legacy and a bit obsessed with the adventure he's invented.

History: Jack was born into a pretty well off family of tailors. However, his father's business went bankrupt when corrupt competitors in the wool industry placed an embargo on importing fine cotton. In shame, his father descended into drink and died. Shortly after the funeral, a man visited Jack claiming to hold debts belonging to his father so he was forced to flee to escape the debtors-workhouse. Years later, he met and rescued a young Anne Bonny when he slit the throat of her abusive husband. The two become constant companions and then lovers before they joined the pirate crew of Charles Vane

Personality: Anne is beautiful but cold-blooded, with a permanent glare from beneath her hat. Her youthful looks mask a troubled personality. She is more masculine than her flamboyant lover, Rackham, for whom she'd die.

History: Anne keeps most of her past to herself. What little that is known about her starts when she was a young teenager, maybe about 13 or 14. She had been married to an abusive man who would beat her and allow his friends to rape her. That all changed when Jack, seeing her being hurt, slit her husbands throat in a tavern. She left with jack and they eventually became lovers while looking for a crew. At some point they joined up with Charles Vane. While Jack became his quartermaster, she became one of his best henchmen and was well known for her ruthlessness.
