Bellamy got up. He went and got his clothes, getting dressed. He looked around the place before grabbing her clothes too. He held them out to her.

Octavia followed him out. She was going to do everything in her power to not take him up on his offer. It might hurt but there's nothing like a little pain to know you're alive, right?

Mary got up as well and took her clothes from him. "Thank you." She got dressed the best she could with the damage inflicted to her dress.

Connor slowly made his way to where the dogs were. He thought that their slow progress would help her more than trying to get there as quickly as possible.

Bellamy looked over. "I can try to reknot it if you want me to." He wasn't sure if he would even be able to do that but he could sure try.

Octavia walked within an arms reach to him but not super close. She figured that he would feel more comfortable if he felt like he could easily catch her.

"That would be helpful." Mary said. She knew it was a long shot to having it fully functional but she was hoping it would hold long enough for her to get back to the castle to get changed.

Connor honestly wasn't too concerned with her running off. She wouldn't get very far very fast with her leg like that. Unless she was faking, but that was unlikely. He looked around when they got to the dog pens.

Bellamy nodded. He started tieing the knots back up. It certainly would not be as pretty as when her servants did it but it would definitely hold... Or at least it should. The problem would be getting out of it again.

Octavia wasn't faking the limp. It really did hurt but she could probably hobble-run if she had to. She just really did not want to. She looked around at the pens also.

Mary waited for him to finish. She held her hair out of the way again while he worked. She wasn't too concerned with it being difficult to get out of. She'd just instruct her servants to cut it open... and keep quiet about it.

Connor went over to one of the pens. He held the gate open for Octavia. He wasn't worried about the dogs hurting her even though these were used to attack. They would only do that if commanded to.

Bellamy smiled, backing up. "That should get you back." He told her, looking around. He was glad nobody walked in on them. That might be a little hard to explain and he could get in big trouble if she went with the rape excuse.

Octavia went in. She smiled and bent down. Little did she know she was basically becoming her group's attack dog. Indra had been teaching her to attack on certain commands and all she had to do was give a small nod and Octavia would kill.

"Thank you." Mary said. She smiled. "I don't know how I could have explained why I was coming back to the castle naked." She was extremely glad no one had seen them. If anyone found out she would be ruined. She was expected to stay chaste until marriage. This couldn't be found out. But if it was she would never say he forced himself on her. She wouldn't do that to him

Connor closed the door so the dogs couldn't get out. He watched Octavia with amusement. He knew some people adored dogs but her reaction seemed like more than that.

Bellamy laughed. "Raccoons stole your clothes, obviously." He laughed. "We should probably start heading back. We don't want people to get suspicious." He hated to leave but knew they probably had to.

Octavia looked up at him. "What do they do? What makes them useful?" She didn't really know the concept of pets. To her everybody had to have a reason to be around.

Mary laughed. She hadn't been expecting that statement. "Raccoons?" Her face fell slightly when he mentioned heading back. She wanted to do anything but that however she knew they shouldn't. "What's the chance that I could run away and live in a village?"

"These are for fighting. Either helping to guard the camp or for attacking during battle." Connor told her. "But don't worry. They're perfectly sweet until they hear their commands."

Bellamy grinned at her statement. "I can help you fake your death." It would be really nice to run away. His people had Clarke. They would make it. The only person there that would really miss him would be Octavia and she would eventually get over it.

Octavias eyes lit up a little. She got this curious grin. "What commands?" Now might not be the best time to hear them with her face level with the dogs.

Mary smiled slightly. It was a nice thought but she could never do that. Duty was too important to her. She could say dream about it and maybe occasionally scurry away to meet with him in secret. "I'll keep that in mind."

Connor chuckled at her. "Want to rethink that idea as you're eye level with the attack dog?"

Bellamy nodded. This was nice. It was a good break from his group and their stupid hormonal teenager crap. It really wore him down sometimes being the only adult in his group. He knew that some of his people probably had turned 18 by now but that was still so... Young.

Octavia laughed a little. "Okay, fair enough point. But you're telling me later." She looked up at him and actually smiled. "How do they know not to hurt your people?"

Mary sighed quietly as she started to head back to the castle. "Sometimes I wish I was born to a no named family. No one would care what I did." She knew that it wouldn't be as good as she imagined. Peasant life was so hard.

"Mmm." Connor said. He didn't think he would. He didn't need her knowing all their secrets. "Training I guess. Dogs aren't really my thing. I command the people who command them."

Bellamy glanced over and shrugged a shoulder. "People would still care." Although he honestly wasn't sure if he would even want her so bad then. He wouldn't have had as much interactions with her.

Octavia nodded. While she was here she could try to enjoy herself a little. Its not like she was going to go spilling all their secrets to them. "So will anybody here try to hurt me?'

"They would still care but not like how people are now. I wouldn't be expected to marry some random high born guy that I may not even know." Mary told him. She wouldn't be watched almost constantly or have to be at war with people.

"Just stick close to me or anyone I assign to be around you." Connor said. He didn't trust a lot of these guys not to hurt her. In more ways than one.

Bellamy nodded. He started walking. "Why can't you break tradition?" He might be the leader of his little group but he knew that that wouldn't fly.

Octavia looked a little annoyed that she had to constantly have somebody around her. She wanted some peace and quiet. She didn't mind being in sight of people but she wanted some space. "I'm not going to run. And I can take care of myself."

Mary shrugged. "It's how things work." She would need someone with 'good' blood to pass on to whatever children she may have in the future. She would need someone to take over after her. She knew that. She just didn't want to have to worry about it now. She was only 17.

"I'm more concerned with you poking around camp." Connor told her. While running was a possibility, she was injured. He wasn't too sure about her taking care of herself but he was smart enough not to say so.

Bellamy watched. "It doesn't have to be." He sighed a little. "You're the queen. You can change that." He watched her. If they weren't even going to be able to be together for very long, what was the point?

Octavia gave him a somewhat annoyed look. "Are you hiding something out in the open? I don't go into tents. Ill stay away from the dangerous people. I can go hang out with the other girls."

"I am the queen, who many people don't want ruling, of a struggling country." Mary said. "I can't afford to change things right now. The best I can do is try to avoid the subject with my mother and push off marriage as long as I can." She lived in a very sexist world. Many people didn't like the idea of a woman, a girl no less, leading the country. Especially without a man to help her.

Connor sighed at her. He understood she would get bored and want to do something but he couldn't really afford to let the captive wander around. "We'll see."
