Personality: Elsa is a super sweet and playful lioness. She was hand raised with her siblings and a rock hyrax since about three days old. She doesn't know what to do with herself now that there aren't people around.

History: Her parents were killed after her dad killed a man and her mother tried to protect her cubs from the people who killed her mate. The humans didn't know that she and her siblings were there or they wouldn't have killed her mother. They felt bad for killing her parents so the couple adopted her and her two sisters and hand raised them until they were too big to control.

History: Askania and Nova were born into a herd at another zoo. They had too many horses, though, and had to send them to another facility. Takhi, on the other hand, wasn't from a zoo. He and his herd were scheduled to be released when he was just a foal. He had injured his leg while play fighting with another foal and couldn't be released with them. He healed, but not enough for the humans to comfortably send him out into the wild, so he was sent to live in a zoo.

Name: Flower/ Zaphod/ Yossarian/ Tosca/ Mozart/ Shakespeare/ Mitch/ Sophie/ Spud

Age: 6 years/ 8 years/ 8 years/ 2 years/ 2 years/ 2 years/ 6 months/ 2 months/ 2 months

Gender: female/ male/ male/ female/ female/ male/ male/ female/ male

Crush: Yossarian might have a little one on Flower

Mate: flower and Zaphod are mates

Kids: Flower and Zaphods pups are Tosca, Mozart. Shakespeare, and Mitch. Sophie and Spud are Mozart's kids

Personality:

Flower is a noble mother and leader of the mob. She is normally nice, but if someone steps out of line she can be brutal.

Zaphod is overprotective of his family. He often "corrects" his brother Yossarian when he does something wrong. He is a loving father and lets more slide than his mate.

Yossarian can best be described as "troubled" and suffering from "social problems". He is mischievous and has a tendency to flake on his responsibilities.

Tosca is a rebellious little meerkat. However, she still loves her family and will be in the front lines to protect them.

Mozart is a caring girl that can often be found taking care of the younger generations. She once was a perfect daughter but is in a lot of trouble now.

Shakespeare is a responsible boy. He adores pups and will risk his life for his family. He's very strong as well. However, he's not perfect and, on occasion, can be convinced to do bad things by his uncle Yossarian.

Mitch has a bit of a mean streak. He has picked on Sophie in the past. He also tends to be a little thief and steal food from his family members. But he is growing out of it and becoming much more mature and responsible. He likes to spend his time with Shakespeare.

Sophie is easily frightened. She stays by her mother and brother as much as she can to avoid being picked on by Mitch. She also likes Shakespeare a lot.

Spud is a little more brave than his sister, but not by much. He mostly sticks by his little family.

History: Yossarian was once the leader of the mob with his mate. However, she unfortunately passed away and his brother, Zaphod, and Zaphod's mate, Flower, took over. They quickly had pups, some of which were given to other zoos while they were allowed to keep others, namely Mozart, Shakespeare, and Tosca. She had a litter before the zoo closed but the only one to survive was Mitch. The zoo traded one of the pups for an adult male before closing, who Mozart and Tosca both mated with before his death. Only Mozart became pregnant and had a litter of pups but only Sophie and Spud survived.

Elsa was watching Boots with a little too much interest. She wouldn't hurt her. Growing up with humans meant she had no knowledge of hunting. Even her playing was gentle as to not hurt her caretakers. But she didn't understand how big she now was.

Kenya and Harenna were laying together, enjoying the sun. They had been running around playing but had since stopped to rest.

Dylan was near the goats. He sat slightly away from them keeping an observant eye on everything going on around them, namely Kenya and Harenna. They were too close to his liking.

Ben and Willard scampered about. They didn't seem to understand that they should be careful since they were so small. They had been raised in safety and knew nothing about predators.

Askania and Nova grazed lazily while Takhi stood watch over his little herd. As always, he was in a mood. Even though he was now more free than he had been in his exhibit, he wasn't happy.

A large portion of the meerkats were out foraging for food. Shakespeare was still at their home with the pups. Ever watchful Zaphod was on sentry duty and standing on a bench while the family dug for insects around him.

Boots was smelling around, making sure everything seemed to be okay. When she was satisfied she jumped up on a rock in the sun and laid down.

Sasha and Mickey had managed to find a nice spot of long grass and were busy grazing away. Neither one of them seemed super concerned with the predators.

Bingo noticed the rats walking around and locked his gaze into them. They weren't much bigger than him so they should my be a problem. He fought plenty of robins and a couple doves, after all.

The chimps were all sitting at the top of a couple trees, grooming each other for bugs. It was nice to just be chimps again and not worry about pleasing their masters.

Amber was hopping and running around her mother who was grazing. They started to walk a little, ambers mother trying to find a better area to graze.

Dylan looked over as the goats started to move away. He got up and followed them. He had never been taught to be a livestock guardian dog. The instinct just came naturally to him.

Ben and Willard didn't notice the owl watching them. Even if they had, they wouldn't have the sense to hide. They went to find something to eat.

Elsa went over to Boots. She didn't understand that to most other animals she would be intimidating. Her best friend had been a rock hyrax that loved to put her in her place after all. So why would other animals be scared?

Amber continued bouncing. She noticed a very fun looking rock and wagged her tail, darting over. She climbed up on it, making little happy sounds. Mom was keeping an eye on her.

Bingo continued hopping on the roof of an old building to keep an eye on them. He made some cute little owl sounds.

Boots looked over. Her tail slowly fluffed, growling.

Dylan glanced over at Amber. He rolled his eyes ever so slightly at the kid. She could make a toy out of anything.

Willard's ears twitched when he heard the sounds Bingo was making. He stood up on his hind legs and looked around.

"Hey." Elsa said. She looked the cat over in confusion. Why was she puffing up like that? Some animals are just strange...

Amber continued playing. Suddenly mom's head shot up, listening. She sniffed. "Amber." She called, going over. But not before Crystal jumped out at Amber. Amber let out a very alarmed call and started running. Mom ran over, stomping at Crystal to distract her from Amber.

Bingo bobbed his head as he watched. He crouched down, fluffing up his neck feathers, getting excited.

Boots hissed, backing up. "Don't mess with me. I'm tough! I can win this fight!"

Dylan noticed Crystal about the time Amber's mom noticed the threat. He had been too concerned with the African wild dogs and hadn't been paying attention to other things. He raced over, barking loudly.

Willard continued to look around even with his poor eyesight. He sniffed but couldn't figure out what those noises were or what they were coming from.

Elsa watched her. She didn't move closer to the frightened cat. "Fight? I don't want to fight." All she wanted was a friend. Why didn't anyone understand that??

Crystal noticed him coming. She grabbed the mom and ran off to a tree where she drug her prey to a high branch. Amber watched, her tail between her legs and get back slightly hunched with her ears back. "Mommy!"

Bingo watched them, clicking his beak. He started to fly down.

Boots still had her ears back. "Lions are dangerous."

Dylan ran over to the tree. He jumped up on the truck but couldn't do anything else. He had failed. He was a disgrace to guardian dogs everywhere. What he didn't think was that most dogs didn't have this many predators in such close quarters. "You good for nothing cat!" He growled. "You better hope I never get a hold of you!"

"What is that?" Willard asked Ben when he finally noticed Bingo. However, some part of his brain did recognize the threat and he took off, Ben right on his heels.

"I'm not dangerous." Elsa said. She sounded offended to even be called such a thing.

Crystal quickly disbatched the mom, swishing her tail just out of his reach. "Predators have to eat. You think I'm so bad. Tell me, what do you eat?" She knew that he couldn't be a vegetarian. Dogs couldn't thrive on that.

Bingo swooped down at them, missing by just an inch. He clicked his beak at them, spreading his wings to fly again.

Boots hissed at her again, still fluffed. She knew to stay out of their reach. Not to mention that she had a good scar on her side from a young lion she had gotten too close to.

Dylan let out a menacing growl. No. He wasn't a vegetarian. He often fed on random vermin than wandered into the zoo. But he didn't go after babies, and then kill their mother when he couldn't catch them.

Ben and Willard let out terrified squeaks as his talons nearly grabbed them. Somehow they had stayed safe this whole time. They found a place to hide under.

Elsa backed up a step when Boots hissed at her. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Crystal let out a small amused sound. "That's what I thought. Now leave me be. I prefer to eat in peace." She wished her tail again as if to save him away.

Bingo tried to get under with them. Unfortuently, or luckily, he didn't have the rats ability to squeeze in despite his small size.

Boots watched her, not looking sure if she should trust her.

Willard and Ben huddled together in their hidey-hole, utterly terrified.

Elsa laid down and looked at her with surprisingly good puppy dog eyes, even though she was a lion.

And you and I are no strangers to betrayal, are we, Jack? [Jack, who has been looking through various containers, stops and glances at a P mark on his arm] [turning to face Jack] It's not here, Jack. What? What isn't? The Heart of Davy Jones is safely aboard the Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satisfy your debt to the good Captain. By my reckoning, that debt has been settled. By your death... yet here you are. Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by."- Lord Cutler Beckett and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

"Clergyman, on the off chance that this does not go well for me, I would like you to note it-hearing now-that I am fully prepared to believe in whatever I must, and be welcomed into that place where all the "goody-goodies" want to go once they pop their clogs. Savvy? We have a word for that, Jack. You can convert. I was thinking more of an as-needed basis."- Jack Sparrow and Philip Swift, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Amber was still in that poor terrified goat stance. She hadn't really moved a muscle, and was watching the tree where Crystal had started eating her mother.

Boots slowly started to unfluff her tail.

Dylan stood between her and her mother so she couldn't see what was going on. "C'mon, kid." He said gruffly. He cared about her but wasn't the most nurturing dog out there.

"I'm Elsa." Elsa told her when she started to calm down somewhat.

Amber slowly looked over at him. She stayed put. "But my mommy..." She responded slowly, her ears back.

Boots watched her. "I'm Boots."

"Is gone. I'm sorry but she's dead." Dylan said, instantly regretting his words. She was probably too young to know about that.

"Nice to meet you." Elsa said happily. "You would not believe how many unfriendly animals there are here."

Amber watched him. If she could whimper she would be. She lowered her head. "But she'll be back, right?" She didn't quite understand.

Boots flicked her tail. "Oh I know."
