No. Not if we follow what he says exactly. Will he starve us? No. That would be against what he needs for us. But that doesn't mean we'll be living a happy life. He'll probably keep us locked up so we wouldn't be tempted to sleep with anyone else." Clay yanked the ropes off of his legs just as the door to the basement was opened. Ruby nods a little. "Oh. But what about exercise and going on runs? Pregnant women need extra exercise to keep the baby healthy." Emily, on the other hand, seemed to be a little comforted that they wouldn't be beat or starved. She wasn't happy with this, but at least that wouldn't happen. "Will he punish all of us if just one of us does something?" Sam smirked when he stopped. Thats right. Clay was up and ready to fight. He felt confident that even with the injuries that Clay could win this fight. | |

"I don't know," Elena said. She wasn't exactly an expert on these things. "I'm sure he will let us go on runs. Especially if we're behaving. It's something we need after all." Then she looked over at Emily. "I don't know. You wouldn't think he would." But that could get them in line more quickly. If they all got punished for one girls actions, they would all start to watch the others to make sure they didn't do anything. Santos watched him. He wasn't going to rush into a fight with clay. He wasn't stupid. Clay was one of the best fighters, if not the best, in the whole pack. And he... Wasn't. "What's wrong, Danny boy? Don't think you can beat me even with two broken arms?" Ruby nodded. She seemed satisfied enough with the answers and went back to looking out the window. Emily nodded. She really hoped that was true. With Elena and Ruby being how they were she was afraid that they would cause her a good amount of suffering that she wouldn't have gotten on her own. Sam smirked a little, still watching him. | |

Elena didn't know how she felt. She could tell both of the other girls seemed more relieved, but she wasn't sure if that was a good thing. Yeah, they shouldn't be terrified but she didn't want them too at ease about this either. Santos let out a growl of rage. How dare clay say those things. He tolerated it as children when he couldn't fight back. But now? He was still spouting his bullshit even in captivity. He walked over to the cage but stayed out of reach. | |

More muttering. The same guy let out a loud sigh. He clearly thought his time was better spent not babysitting the girls but didn't have much of a say. "Yeah fine. I'll find you something." He walked away "You want a fight Clayton? Fine." Santos said. He held up the wires connected to the battery and put them together. Sparks flew into the air. | |

The mutt soon returned with a tray of food for them. It was all things that they wouldn't need utensils to eat so they couldn't have any weapons. He smirked when he saw how excited Ruby was. "I should have just put it in a bowl for you." Clay stood his ground. Yeah. That would take him down. Pretty easily too. Why couldn't Santos just try to fight fairly for once? He had even used a damn battery like that on him before. | |

The mutt stayed where he was. He watched the girls with interest. "It's a shame Santos is keeping you all for himself. We could have some fun." Clay moved back and forth on the balls of his feet, thinking over the situation. He glanced at Sam as if hoping he had suddenly broke free. | |

Ruby growled. She showed her teeth figuring that Santos wouldn't be mad that she was telling him no. If anything he should be happy, right? She started eating her food, keeping an eye on him. Sam was trying to break free. He really was. He pulled against the ropes as much as he could without hurting himself for no reason. He was still quietly growling. | |

He gave them each a long, lingering look before walking back out of the room and locking the door. "He looks at me like that again I'm going to end him." Elena growled. Clay darted forward but danced out of the way before Santos could hit him. He was more seeing how fast Santos would strike. He was also hoping he could keep him distracted while Sam got free. | |

"Yeah I know. Doesn't mean I should have to tolerate it." Elena replied. She then took some food. She left the majority for Ruby though since she had been the one to get it for them. She thanked her. Clay kept moving to the side of the cage then backing up. His actions were clearly making Santos angrier and angrier. | |
