Nick went over to them after a few minutes of arguing. Clay looked over, expecting an apology for the guy's actions, but new he wasn't going to get it when he saw Nick's face. | |

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Nick demanded. His breath stunk of beer. "I bring you to a party and you pull this shit? In front of my friends??" "I didn't pull anything. That girl came over and-" clay started but nick didn't let him continue. "And you blew her off, right? Couldn't be nice about it. It's a girl, clay. Any normal guy- oh wait. You're not a normal guy are you? You don't even try to be normal. That's the problem." Nick said before cringing when he heard a party goer shout an exaggerated drawl. He waited for the laughter to die down before continuing. "See? See?? You gotta be different. Can't even bother talking normally. There's no reason why you keep that stupid accent- oh wait. There is a reason. Because you don't want to sound like everyone else. You like being different. Being an asshole. Acting like you're better than everyone else. Well let me tell you something clay-" he stopped when clay pushed past him and walked away. "Hey! I'm not done talking to you." He jogged after clay as he went to the gate.
