While he didn't want them to find him because that would mean getting spooked and probably get him a good natured beating, he needed them to find him so he could get home. "Now go on. Find one you actually want." Jeremy said. He was going to stay with her so nothing bad could happen to her, but he did want to go find a car for clay was well.
