Connor pulled her into a hug. "Hey there. Hey. It's okay." He said, trying to be comforting but having no clue of really how to do that. His intentions were good as always but he lacked the skills to back them up. Morgan looked over at her, his eyes never quite meeting hers. Whether that was lack of confidence or just instinctual submissive wolf behavior was up to interpretation. A ghost of a smile appeared on his face. "Um... Thanks." | |

Eleven jumped and cowered when he touched her. She had obviously not been treated very well at that place. It's amazing how far back that short visit put her socialization skills. Ruby grinned. Connor immediately let go of her and backed up a step or two. He wanted to swear. Damn those people. How could anyone hurt another person like they had, and a child no less. If he ever got a hold of them he'd kill them all. They deserved no less. Â Morgan nodded a little. "It would." He agreed. He glanced up at her again and accidently made eye contact. His green eyes quickly darted away and his posture slunk down slightly, as if apologizing. | |

Eleven seemed to calm down a little when he moved away from her. She wanted to be friendly still and she wanted to be good, but she just couldn't be. She hadn't wanted to kill that man. Connor stayed silent for a few seconds. He then glanced away then looked back at her. "Do you know what I do?" She had to feel bad about what she did, or at least that's what he thought, so he'd try to make it okay- or at least as okay as it could be. Or terrify her. "I'm sorry." Morgan said quickly. He was clearly uncomfortable with her touching him but didn't move away. He could, he knew that he was stronger than her, but stayed where he was. | |

Connor once again hesitated. He didn't want to scare her. "I kill people. Bad people who hurt others." He explained. That didn't mean killing was okay. He was a special case. However, he wasn't pissed that she had done what she did. She hadn't had a choice. Morgan nodded in agreement. He knew she was a nice person. Or at least she had been so far. He didn't lower his gaze, but he was clearly struggling to not look away. | |

"Well I'm originally from Newfoundland. I finished college a couple years ago, then I got a job and hated it with a passion. So I picked up and went traveling to find myself." Morgan explained. Connor noticed her look. He didn't really understand what it was for. Was she simply interested in what he had to say or something else? He didn't consider that she might consider those people family members. A little bit of hope flashed in Morgan's eyes, but he shook his head. "I doubt any of you guys would want me around." He had no real skills. Yeah he could track and hunt like a champ but anything else? Not really. He couldn't fight. He had been raised to turn tail and run at the first sign of conflict. Why would they even think about letting a mutt like him in? | |
