"Well I'll start letting you know about parties I'm going to more often. If you want me to, at least." Nick said. He didn't know what he would do if he didn't get to go to parties. Clay sat on the edge of the bed and watched her. John answered them as best he could.

Emily smiled, nodding. "Thank you. I would love to start going to more." She watched him as they drove. She looked pretty happy. She was going to be able to meet some new people and maybe make some new friends. Ruby laid down. She put a hand a couple inches above her hip and a little closer to the middle of the stomach. She could tell something was wrong but didnt know what. Sam stopped after a wgile, going quiet again. "Are we going to be able to stay there?" He asked quietly after a few minutes of silence.

"Well you'll be going to the next one to be sure." Nick said, chatting away happily. "And it should be a great one. This guy knows how to throw parties." Clay intently watched her. He vaguely knew that what he did- watching people like this- was weird but that didn't mean he'd stop. "Until something else comes up." John said. He wasn't going to lie to his son and tell him they'd stay there any longer than he figured they would. It's not like they could stay around one place. There were monsters to kill. He was also getting closer to that demon that killed Mary.

Emily smiled at him. She let him talk to her, a little happy she didn't have to respond that much. She nodded."I'm excited to go. Thank you, Nick." Ruby looked over. Surprisingly she wasn't super uncomfortable with him watching her. It was strange, sure, but she didn't mind. "What is it? I'm fine." Sam nodded, thinking.

"I'm happy you're coming. You're really fun to hang out with. And I'm glad that some of my pack can be with my human friends. Not many people would tolerate being with them.." Nick said Clay shrugged a shoulder. There wasn't really anything he was looking for. He just watched. He liked to learn how other people acted. "Nothing." John silently drove.

Emily smiled at him. She never understood why the pack didn't like humans. They could be fun! "Thank you. I think you're a lot of fun too. Your fun to joke around with." Ruby nodded a little. She closed her eyes, snuggling down in the bed. "You have such comfortable beds here." She grinned a little. "My bed was actually my mom's first bed so it's been worn down to practically nothing as I'm sure you can imagine." Dean was on his phone, playing some sort of game or something. Sam looked bored again.

"Or joke about." Nick replied with a smile. "Yeah. Things are good here." Clay agreed. He loved his home and his pack. He didn't know what he would do if Jeremy wouldn't have brought him here. "My biological parents were real poor. Spent all their money on booze. My brothers and I all shared a room that had a couple old beds." Elena looked out the window, watching the landscape go by.

Emily smiled at him. "That too, of course." Ruby nodded. "I cant speak for the booze, but all of our money goes towards buying ingredients. This is honestly my only pair of clothes. I don't even have nightclothes. My blankets are just made from animal pelts." Sam watched out the window too.

Nick laughed at her statement. "At least you admit it." He really didn't mind getting made fun of that much. Just so long that those jokes didn't get nasty. Jeremy pursed his lips as he listened to the kids talk. He was surprised to hear clay speak of his family. Clay never said much about them even to him. "The... Um... Pack can help your family. I'm sure Dominic would be more than happy to assist you." Skip?

Emily laughed too. "It's not like you care though." She was sure he didnt. He never acted like it so it's not like she would have been able to tell anyway. Ruby looked at Jeremy, shaking her head. "No, you don't have to do that. We can handle ourselves." She looked over at Clay again. "You had brothers? How many did you have?" Yep

"Oh? So you know what's in my head? Maybe I really do care. I'm deeply hurt by your mocking but I just put on a brave front. Ever think of that?" nick asked, trying to hide his smile. It was a lie. Clearly. But he would try to convince her otherwise anyway. Clay told her how many he had (I don't know if the books ever said how many). "but it don't matter. They're not a part of my life anymore. I couldn't care less what happened to them." John pulled up to a motel that would be their home for the time being.

Nick made a face at her. Maturity wasn't his strong suit. "You don't know me. You don't know what I'm thinking." He smiled at her. "No. Only brothers. But I got Emily now... I don't think I was missing much." Clay smiled despite Jeremy's disapproving look. He was mostly kidding. John got out. Elena quickly followed him. She didn't like moving from place to place, but she did enjoy exploring their new "home." There might be something exciting at this place.

Emily smirked. "I think I can guess pretty easily." She said, watching him. I think that youre thinking that _________." She smiled at him, awaiting his response. Ruby laughed a little. "That's just because of her. Other girls are a little bit easier to deal with." She smiled. "You're lucky that you have siblings. I've always admired the bond between them." The brothers got out too. Dean was taking a good look around, where as Sam seemed excited to see the hotel room.

"Am I that predictable?" Nick responded. "There was no bond between me and my brothers. I was a bother to them. Something they didn't want to take care of." Clay said. He growled faintly under his breath. He hated them. All of his human family. "Emily's alright I guess. Most the time at least." John went in to rent a room.

Nick laughed at that. "At least you know me." He was glad that she knew him well enough to know what he was thinking. "Don't be." Clay said. He didn't want to act like his ex-family still bothered him. They shouldn't. He had moved on. But for some reason they still did. John got a room. Once he had the keys, he went to find the room.

Nick smiled. He, too, was enjoying his time with her. She and Clay were his closest friends so why wouldn't he like being with her? Â Clay looked around, trying to calm himself. Â John found the room and went inside. Elena had grabbed her bag and had followed them to it.

Emily smiled at him. "We should hang out more often. You don't come over nearly enough." She said happily. She felt like she could finally relax around him. She didnt have to worry about her reputation or anything. Ruby looked around. "So school should be out soon, right?" She couldn't wait for summer. She didn't have to juggle her deliveries and school. That alone have her a lot more free time. Plus, maybe she could learn to drive so she didn't have to walk everywhere. Dean followed them in as well. Same tossed down his bag, looking around. "Can I go look around??" He had heard about all the landmark and wanted to go see them in person.
