Nick and clay ordered after her. It didn't matter to Nick how much the food would cost. He never had to care. Which was a good thing knowing clay would decide it was him who had to pay for some reason or another. Jorge looked at her. He didn't know what she meant since he wasn't aware that she didn't know what she was. "Weird? What exactly is weird?" "Make sure it doesn't." Dominic replied. He had never really talked with mutts like this before. If he was ever around one, they were usually either running for their lives or trying to fight, not that they would win. He was stronger than he looked, if that was even possible. However, he wasn't a total monster. If they acted civil toward him, like Beverley was, he wasn't going to kill them for no reason. He wasn't Malcolm. "And I will let malcolm know you are under my protection." Hopefully that would be enough Malcolm had been pushing his boundaries lately; resting whether or not Dominic still deserved to be alpha. | |

Emily shrugs. "So? It'll be free." She didn't see a problem with it. Sure, it wasn't the most ethical thing to do, but it worked so why not do it. It didn't really hurt anything that they got it wrong anyway. Ruby shrugs. "For what? It's not your fault." She looked around. "I've never seen a house this big. It's amazing!" She had been born and had grown up in the little cottage that she lived in. That's all she had known. Beverley nods. "I at least want Ruby in." She knew it would be safer for her, and if somebody came after them she at least wanted Ruby to be safe, even if she couldn't be. | |

And that's what he saw this as. Jorge smiled slightly. "It's much bigger than we need. Especially now that it's just my grandpa, uncle, cousin, and myself. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else though. This house had been in my family for generations." Dominic nodded a little bit. He didn't know how to feel about this, but until they gave him a reason to get rid of them, it would be best to keep them close by. "We can try to work something out. Clay took his and grunted his thanks. He could get mad at Emily for being rude, but still be rude himself. But that was different. It was in his nature. Emily knew better. Nick smiled at the waiter. He thanked him. "Is there anything else I can get you?" The waiter asked. Jorge took her back to where the others had been. He listened as they got closer, trying to figure out if they were done, and if not, what they were talking about. | |
