Sam laughed at her response to his joke. "Thats true. You've stopped unpacking too?" Emily followed him happily in. She was still mad at Ruby for existing, but hoped Malcolm or Nick would takef care of it soon. That would put her in a much better mood. | |

"Yeah. Might as well keep as much as I can packed up. Makes it easier to leave." Elena said. She meant her statement as it's quicker to leave if most of the things she owned was packed, but she also thought that keeping her things packed made her feel less like she was at home. She didn't want to start thinking of places as a home when she'd never see the place again. Nick would never hurt Ruby. He wasn't a fighter, both in mentality and ability. He didn't want to fight, nor was he able to. He kept enough muscle on himself to look good and nothing more. He looked over at Emily. "What do you want to do?" | |

Sam nodded, smiling. He understood what she meant both ways. Like her, Sam tried to make it as easy on himself as possible when it was time to leave. After all, if he didn't have a home he didn't have to be sad to leave. Emily didn't mean it like that. She knew Nick had a tendency to speak more than he should and that was exactly what she was counting on. Hopefully he would mention the wrong thing to the right wolf. "I don't really care." | |

Elena smiled. She was glad that Sam seemed to always know what she was thinking. She was quite similar to her adopted brother. She wondered if that was by chance or because of the amount of time they spent together. Nick got a devious smile. "Where's clay? We could bug him for a while." He suggested. He didn't know about the awful day clay had been having or else he wouldn't had suggested that. He could be annoying but he wasn't mean. He had no desire to add to Clay's shitty day. | |

Sam smiled. He tended to spend most of his time with her, which unfortuently for him, was tending to make him more feminine. Not to say he was girly, he just wasn't nearly as manly as Dean or John was. Which I guess you could argue was a good thing. Emily shook her head. "No. Apparently he thinks he had a bad day. We should leave him,alone." After a few seconds, she started talking again. "I don't see why though. He got in a fight, sure, but he met the mutt because of it. He's never met a girl before. He was curious on why she thought this mutt was a danger. Well... All mutts could be a danger. They tended to attack pack wolves for no reason, just as some pack members attacked them. "Huh." Nick said as he listened to her describe this mysterious mutt. "That is pretty weird." He knew some people like that. Freaks and oddballs at his private school. People he stayed far away from. He wasn't ever mean to them though. He just stayed far away. Jeremy and Antonio arrived at the place Jeremy had dropped Ruby off at. Antonio changed and once he was done, he followed her scent to their home. Jeremy followed him, carrying his clothing. | |

Emily growled softly. "I don't trust her around my family. But they don't seem to care what she does." She looked down. Ruby was out with the chickens, gathering eggs. While her grandmother wasn't currently home, you could tell she had just left. The most delicious smells were wafting out of the open windows of the house. | |

"Well..." Nick said, thinking of the right thing to say. "If they just met her they don't really know her. If she's as bad as you say she is, Jeremy will realize that and put an end to it." He didn't say anything about clay because he really didn't know what his friend would do. If she was a threat to his family, he'd do something. But if she was just weird? Clay might be okay with that. When they got close enough to smell the food and chickens, Antonio changed back and got dressed. Then they made the way to the house. | |

Ruby finished collecting the eggs and gave them food. She threw a few handfuls on corn onto the dirt outside the coop and grabbed a broom. She started to sweep out t e soiled litter, making a pile outside the door. | |

Emily nodded a little, seeming satisfied with his response. "Good. Andx I don't want you to meet her, okay? Just stay away from her." She didn't want to have to share his attention any more than she already did. Ruby still jumped a little. She looked over at them. "I'm not supposed to talk to you anymore." Her grandmother had somehow found out that she had rode with them and was less than happy. Behond Ruby the chickens were pecking around. The rooster watched Ruby uncomfortablely. Whenever one of his hens would get up thef courage to go over to Ruby, he would hurry over, give her a peck on the head, and take her back with the rest of his flock. | |
