"He might go easier on me." Elena said, taking the phone from him. "Thanks." She could have used her phone, but she might as well use his since he had it out already. She called Dean.

Jeremy let put a barely audible such and nodded. "Yes. Go on. Try to stay away from Malcolm for a little while." It's not like she would go looking for him, he didn't think, but he wanted to warn her anyway.

Sam waited, almost looking nervous as he watched her dial his number.

Dean took a few minutes to answer as he didn't have his phone on him. He had spent the night with a local girl so he had to dig through his pant pockets. He picked up. "What do you want, Sammy?"

Oh, but going and looking for Malcolm was Emily's next plan. If Jeremy didn't want to help her, surely Malcolm would see the threat of an unknown mutt. It was dark, she knew, but if she spoke just right she didn't have to say to hunt her down.

"It's me, Dean. I borrowed Sam's phone." Elena said. She sounded very slightly nervous, although Dean probably couldn't pick up on it. She didn't mean to ignore his question. She just didn't want to ask for help so she was putting it off.

Malcolm was doing something inside. He would have no problem hunting down and killing a mutt, even if that mutt happened to be a young girl. He killed teenage mutts before they had even changed yet just because they were mutts

Dean nodded a little. "I'm that case, what do you want, Elena. I'm a little busy right now." He sounded ready to hang up on her there and then. He didnt want to deal with this right now.

Emily walked by him, making sure to mumble about Ruby in passing. That way she couldn't be blamed for it. She was just talking and if he overheard, well there was nothing she could do about that.

Elena glared slightly at his tone, even though he couldn't see her. It's not like she tried to contact him all the time for no reason. "I need help. We went for a walk and... We kinda got lost..."

Malcolm made a point to ignore her as she walked by. That is, until he heard what she was mumbling to herself. If he was in wolf form, his ears would have visibly perked up. A wolf? This close to Stonehaven? If the girl knew about this mutt, Jeremy had to as well. His stupid, weak son was allowing this.

Dean sighed. "You got lost? Have you tried to find your way back yet? Where are you? He was hoping to just be able to tell them how to get home and not have to go get them. That would be the easy way.

Emily went to her room. She was fairly satisfied with what she had done. She knew Malcolm wouldn't let this slide. The mutt would be taken care of no problem now. She didn't think he could use that against Jeremy.

"Yes we tried to find our way back." Elena said, trying to avoid bring sarcastic. That wouldn't help them out right now. "We aren't stupid." She looked around then told Dean where they were.

Malcolm didn't go to find Ruby right away. She could wait for a little while. Yes, the urge to go eliminate the mutt was strong, but the urge to belittle Jeremy about the situation was stronger. He went to talk to jeremy, who was coming inside with clay.

Dean let out a long sigh. He really would rather do other things instead of going a finding a couple of kids that ran off. "Fine. Okay. Stay put, I'll be there soon. Try not to get any more lost." He hung up and got dressed.

Emily stayed in her room, waiting quietly. She looked around the room a little, trying to decide how to make it more entertaining. There still wasn't a lot she could do. She had a small empty aquarium in the corner, which she had gotten from a person at school.

Elena was about to say something in response to the last sentence but he hung up before she could. She handed Sam his phone back. "He's on his way." She stated, grumpy because of how dean had spoken to her.

Malcolm immediately started belittling and yelling at Jeremy over Ruby, saying terrible things to him that no father should ever think let alone say. Jeremy stood there silently and took it, though. Sadly, he was used to this treatment. How many times had Malcolm told him that he had been happy when he thought Jeremy hadn't been born alive and the feeling of dread when he realized he just wasn't crying like a normal child should?

Clay, however, wasn't about to allow this to go on. He leapt at Malcolm and managed to punch him before being tossed away by the stronger man. Malcolm then grabbed clay, punched him a few times, and then threw him again, this time into kitchen cabinets instead of the floor, which made such a loud noise Emily could probably hear it all the way upstairs.

Elena crossed her arms. "Yeah. Deans just being an ass. He sounded like he wanted to be anywhere other than helping us."

Clay crumpled to the ground, the wind knocked out of him. He laid there for a few long seconds trying to breathe again before trying to sit up. This had made his earlier injuries even worse and he was pretty sure some bones were broken.

"Keep your pup away from me or I will put him down." Malcolm snarled. He stomped away, feeling nothing for the boy who he had injured.

"I really don't doubt it. I'm sure he's far too busy to worry about us." Elena stated. She sighed and sat down on the curb to wait for him.

Clay growled at her as he stood up, knowing very well how Malcolm had found out about Ruby. He took a step forward but stumbled.

Sam sat down next to her. He shrugged a little bit, looking around. "Dean is just... young. He feels like he had better things to do, even if that isn't true. I wouldn't be too concerned with it."

Emily looked worried and confused when he growled at her. "What? I came to help you when I heard." She tried to help catch him when he stumbled.

"I'm used to his moods." Elena replied. They weren't all that uncommon after all. That didn't mean she enjoyed getting treated like that just because Dean had found a slutty girl the night before. "I just don't like them."

"How did he find out about Ruby?" Clay demanded. He pulled out of her grasp when she helped him stay upright, too angry to accept her help.

Sam nodded, looking around. "I know that you're used to them. So am i, but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with." He really didn't like the moods either. Maybe they should knock him out and get him neutered.

Emily watched him, almost looking offended. "I didn't tell him. I haven't talked to him since he threatened me earlier!" She looked pretty upset. She hadnt meant for this to happen to him. She thought he would just go take care of Ruby and be done with it.

"Hopefully he will grow out of them soon." Elena replied. And hopefully Sam didn't develop them as he got older. She didn't think Sam would ever act like that, but she didn't think dean would ever be that moody either.

Sam nodded, looking up and down the street for Dean. "I sure hope so too." He wanted to confidently say that he would, but he honestly didnt know if dean would ever grow out of it. It never even crossed sams mind that he could grow up to be like Dean.

Emily glared. "I don't like her, but I didn't talk to Malcolm. I promise you that I never talked to him." That wasn't a lie. She never once had talked to him after that. She just talked around him. There was a big difference.

"If he doesn't, we might have to look into ways to calm him down. Make him more manageable. Maybe we can find a nice obedience trainer for him." Elena said with a small smile as she imagined shipping him off to a kennel to teach him manners.

No matter what she said, clay didn't believe her, even though logic said that Emily wasn't that evil. He wanted to see the worst in her right now so he did. "Bullshit." He stated, barely containing another growl.

Sam laughed. "I've got a couple places picked out already." He joked. He smiled at her for a few seconds before looking around again. "He should be here soon, right?"

Emily looked at Jeremy for help, whimpering slightly. Even though she had made sure he heard, she never, not for a second thought that he would go after clay or Jeremy.
