Elena shrugged a shoulder. "I guess that's true. It's just weird that the amount of the kids is the one thing you didn't imagine. It's hard to picture everything else, isn't it?" Jeremy frowned ever so slightly but pulled over. "If you're sure... It's really no problem to go the rest of the way, though." He could tell she was uncomfortable and didn't want to make her feel even worse by trapping her in a vehicle. "I can walk with you, if you want." Clay offered. He did want to make sure she got back safely, but more than that he wanted to apologize for Emily's behavior. The idea of her acting that badly toward Ruby hadn't crossed his mind when he offered her the ride. Emily could be a bitch at school but when they were away from people she wasn't ever that bad.

Sam shrugs. "I don't want to force you or Amanda to have more kids than you want." He joked, referencing his imaginary druggie girlfriend again. He looked around for anybody or anything that might be sneaking up on them. Ruby got out, shaking her head. "No thanks. My grandmother really wouldn't like either of you showing up with me. I'll be fine. I walk this path every day." She smiled at them. "Really."

Elena laughed at that. "Thank you. It's so kind of you not to force anyone to have too many children." She saw him looking around and smiled. "You have a better vantage point that me. Are you seeing anything from up there?" Clay nodded slightly. He watched her as she got out, looking as if he might just follow her even though she didn't want him too. "Let me know if you ever need a ride, okay? I'll put a muzzle on Emily. Maybe a shock collar..." He cast another glare toward Emily.

Sam nods. "I do try to be polite." He joked. When she asked if he saw anything from his height he rolled his eyes, but grinned. "No, I don't see anything from up here. Do you see anything under those bushes down here?" Ruby noticed the look of wanting to follow and grinned. "Do you really want to come with?" She looked around a little bit, refusing to look up at Emily. When Clay mentioned the shock collar, Emily glared, growling. She crossed her arms again. She looked at Jeremy, asking if he was going to let Clay treat her like that.

Elena playfully nudged him. "No but I can check if you want. We might find some trash or something. It could be sooo exciting." She knew it was stupid to joke about his height, but she still did it. "No. No. Not if you don't want me to.." Clay said. He could hear Emily growling but ignored it. He couldn't ignore Jeremy's simple "clayton" though and looked over to see Jeremy's disapproving look. He muttered a half hearted apology.

Sam grinned. "Hey, you never know." He wasn't necessarily ashamed of his height, but he didn't like most people talking about it. He never minded when Elena teased him though. He was a lot closer to her than most other people. Ruby nods. "It's up to you if you want to come, but I'm heading back now. See you tomorrow if you don't come along, Clay." She smiled, got her stuff, and started walking. Every once in a while she would glanced around her, nervously checking the woods.

Elena smiled. When she teased him, it was never meant to hurt his feelings. It was just part of their relationship. A way to show she cared. "You give me hope that I won't be a shrimp forever." She said with a smile. Elena was pretty small for her age still, although she was starting to get taller. Clay looked at Jeremy to make sure it was okay, and once he saw the nod, climbed out of the back seat of the truck and followed her. Once they were far enough from the others, he said "I'm so sorry about Emily. I didn't think the would freak like that.." when they were gone, Jeremy looked at Emily. "What was that about? You two never act like that." He always thought it was now how well the two got along at home. Most "siblings" didn't act like they did. But most siblings were actually related

Sam smiled at her. He looked over at her when she said he gave her hope and smirked. "Really? We aren't even related. If I had to bet is say that you will stay tiny forever." Ruby looked over at him, smiling. She knew he would follow. While she was still nervous about him coming with, she was happy with his company. She nodded, her smile fading. "It's okay. She just doesn't like me, and I accept that, even if I don't understand it." Emily shrugs, looking down. Time to be the good girl again. "I don't know. I just told him that I didn't like that other wolf. She's really strange and sometimes she'll come in smelling like blood and she is obviously aggressive in class. I didn't want him getting hurt."

"It doesn't matter that we aren't related. I can grow." Elena stated. She crossed her arms and pouted, but wasn't hurt by anything he had said. She hit acted like it. "I'm not going to be tiny forever. I'm not even tiny now." Clay trailed along by her like a trusty pet dog. Which wasn't too far from the truth. He growled quietly at her words. "No one understands what she does. She just thinks she's a princess or something." "You knew about her- another werewolf? You never brought it up before." Jeremy said. He wasn't acting angry or anything, but he sounded a little disappointed in her for not telling him or anyone in the pack about a potential threat so nearby.

Sam smirked at her. "Uh-huh. Sure you will." He straightened himself up to his full height, then looked down at her. "Yes. You are tiny. I'm sorry, but you have to accept it. I already did." Ruby walked, looking over at him. "Apparently. Maybe you should try knocking her off of her throne." After a couple more minutes of walking, she stopped next to a small path in the woods. "I think I'm going to take a dip. You can go back if you want. My house is just around the bend." Emily looked back up at him. "I'm sorry. I thought you knew about her? Like all the other pack who doesn't live in our house." Okay, that was the truth. She did think he at least had an idea about her.

Elena looked up at him, at that moment feeling somewhat puny, and made a face. "Everything's tiny to you." She stated, her arms still crossed. "Giraffes look at you and hope they'll be as tall as you someday." Clay shrugged when she spoke of knocking her off her throne. "I can't. It wouldn't be right to fight with a girl." It also wouldn't work. He might be ranked pretty high among the other pack youths, but Emily was in her own category since she was a girl, just like in a real wolf pack. He walked with Ruby until they reached the path. "Alright. I'll see you later." "No. She isn't a pack wolf so I didnt know about her." Jeremy said. The pack really didn't keep track of mutts yet. They scanned the newspaper once in a while to make sure they weren't doing anything to expose werewolves, but that was about it. They didn't keep dossiers on them or anything like they would in the future. However, if anyone came across a mutt, other than Jeremy, they would usually kill them. Especially Malcolm and his followers. They would go hunting for mutts.

Elena smiled. "It is. But don't worry. You have reached terrifying levels of height... Yet." She might tease him... A lot. But he wasn't THAT tall. "Bye." Clay said. He turned and headed back to the truck. He didn't understand why he was so drawn to her. He never liked people outside if the pack. And it didn't matter that she was a werewolf. Any wolf that wasn't in the pack could be a threat. He should hate her more. "If you ever find another werewolf let me know. Even if you think I know about them." Jeremy said. This was a real problem. If this had happened with the majority of other mutts, Emily and Clay could have seriously been hurt. Or worse.

Sam smirked at her. "Well as long as I don't scare people I can keep growing. Maybe ill take all of your height that you aren't going to end up using too. Give me more height." He watched her, making sure to be extra dramatic with looking down. Ruby smiled as she walked. She soon got to where the path opened up to a large clearing with a pond. Her pond. It might not be on her property but she still claimed it. She took off her dress, leaving her in just her undergarments when she swam, and jumped in. Emily nods. "okay." She still didn't look super happy but calmed down when she was just with Jeremy. She was always jealous of how much attention Clay got, and a little part of her hated him for getting to stay home all those years while she was picked on and bullied.

Elena laughed at that. "Good luck with that." She looked up at him and didn't look intimidated even when he tried to make himself look dramatic. Clay jogged back to the truck and climbed in. He glared at Emily once again. "That was bullshit, Emily. You shouldn't have treated her like that." He was mad at how she had treated ruby, but he was also pissed about the fight earlier. He couldn't believe that she had just watched him get hurt

Sam smiled at her for a couple seconds. He looked around them again. Every once in a while he had to check himself and slow down his walking. Being taller it was easy for him to walk a lot faster than her. Emily glared at him. "She could have been a threat. I was trying to protect my family. Maybe take a look at the facts before yelling at me." She crossed her arms again.

Elena never said anything when he started walking too quickly. She would just have to scurry to keep up. It's not like he would forget her or anything. "If she was a threat, I would have handled it. I wouldn't let anything happen to the people I care about." Clay stated with a hint of a growl. "You should trust me once in a while."

Sam looked around. "So what are you thinking about?" He asked, hoping it was something interesting that they could talk about. While walking around started out interesting, it was quickly losing his interest. Emily glared a little bit. "I wouldn't have to trust you if you never would have bit me in the first place!" She crossed her arms grumpily and looked out the window. She would give anything to be home already.

"Nothing notable." Elena admitted. She looked around once again, willing something- anything- to happen. "Just trying to think of something else for us to do. This is getting old. I'm not coming up with anything, though." "One mistake. I made one mistake when I was a little kid!" Clay snarled at her. He regretted biting her. He really did. But he couldn't take it back now. "And I have apologized and apologized for it since." Jeremy was driving home, probably a little too fast. They went to school in pretty far from Stonehaven, so they'd be trapped in this car together for a little while longer

Sam nods. That's what he was afraid of. "Okay. Thats no problem. We can always start to head back if you want. I know this isn't super interesting." Emily growled, keeping her gaze fixed outside. "Why couldn't you have just killed me?" She watched everything pass by her window. They would be home soon enough. Why couldn't they have gone to a school that was closer to their house?
