Elena nodded and walked. They eventually came to a gas station with a convenience store. Elena went inside and looked at the choices. "What do you want?" "Yeah I want you there." Clay said, meaning it fully. This change of his personality was shocking to him. "That pause wasn't because of you coming over." "I can't keep this from the pack, even if I don't help. They need to know if someone is living in our territory." Jeremy said. He didn't think Dominic would order her to be harmed. He was much better with handling mutts than any previous alpha, even if he condoned things Jeremy didn't agree with. | |

Sam happily followed her in. He looked at all the options, trying to decide. There were so many good ones, making it almost impossible for him to choose. "I don't know. What are you going to get?" Ruby smiled at him again, nodding eagerly. "Alright then. Although my granny still won't be happy that im going." She thought for a second, trying to make a plan. "She has an uncanny ability to track me down, too. I don't know how she does that." Beverley watched him. "Forget about it. We'll move out. There's no need to tell anybody." She responded, starting the car. She didn't want anybody to know that Ruby killed somebody. She knew that would mean they would have to hunt Ruby down. | |

"I don't know." Elena said. She looked everything over, analyzing everything. She picked one up after a little while of deciding. "Some people just have a weird sixth sense. Jeremy can sometimes tell when Emily and I are in trouble. I bet you that when I get home he will have the med kit ready at the door." Clay said. He didn't know how Jeremy could do the things he does. No other werewolf had abilities like that. "If she's a threat to humans finding us, we can't allow her to be out in the world. We have to train her." Jeremy said. He didn't mention the other option. He wouldn't allow her to be hunted down and killed, just as he hadn't allowed that to happen to clay. | |

Sam looked everything over too. He took a little bit longer than her to decide. Eventually he did end up making his selection. He picked up his candy and looked back at Elena. "Is that all?" Ruby smiled a little bit. "That's weird that he knows. I'll bet he has a secret camera on you." She joked. Honestly that wasn't a bad idea. How else could granny know exactly where to find her? Its not like she was a blood hound. Beverley nods a little. "Good luck with that. She doesn't even know she is a wolf. In fact, she's terrified of them. When she was younger she thought she saw one in the woods and took off. She ran into the road and damn near got hit. Turns out the neighbors husky got out. Poor girl wouldn't set foot outside for a week." | |

Sam smiled, nodding as she thanked him. "I'm happy to do it... with your money." He playfully teased. He never meant anything by it but did enjoy teasing her. It was mire like a game than anything. Ruby nodded understandingly. "Yeah, I know what you mean. My granny is the same way. She always tells me to be more lady like. Apparently she doesn't think it's good for me to be around just guys most of the time. I personally don't see a problem with how I act." Beverley nods. She let put a long sigh. "She really isn't a bad kid. You would never know anything is up with her. She's goes to school, has a job, takes care of her chickens, has friends." | |

"I bet you are." Elena replied with a playful smirk. She didn't mind the teasing. At least this kind of teasing. If he was trying to be hurtful, which she never could imagine Sam doing, she didn't know what she would do. Probably nothing in front of him.
"I never saw the point of trying to act a certain way in public. If that's not how you are, why trick people into thinking you're that way?" Clay told her. He acted just well enough to get away with it in the human world. Very rarely did he go out of his way to be nice to people. He wasn't mean to people who didn't deserve it. He just wasn't nice. "That might be why no one likes me and says that I'm a jerk though. So maybe don't listen to me."

Elena opened hers and ate it. Unlike Sam, she nibbled on the candy bar. She didn't want it to be gone in a couple seconds. There wasn't a point to eating it then. Â "Yeah. For some reason I don't hate you like I do most people." Clay said with a smile. He really didn't understand her. She smelled like a wolf and he actually liked her, but he still thought that he may have been hit too hard. There was no way she could be a werewolf. Â Jeremy nodded slightly. He didn't like this. He defiantly didn't like knowing that there were mutts living that close to him and his pack that they didn't know about. The pack really needed to start keeping better track of all the mutts instead of just killing the ones they came across. | |

Sam looked around at everything. "Well, you wanted to explore. Why don't we going look around town a little more? Surely something has to be out there." He smiled again at her before walking out of the store. Ruby nods, smiling again. She shrugged a shoulder. "It was nothing. I don't like to watch people suffer." She glanced around her again. "I don't normally hang out with anybody here so you're welcome to come over and talk to me whenever you want." Beverley nods a little. "Thank you." She responded before starting to pull out of the driveway. If it got too hard on Ruby shrugs would pack up and move. It really wasn't a big problem for her. | |

Elena nodded. "Okay." She was starting to doubt that this town was exciting in any way, but they could still try to find something to do. It's not like they had any better options. All they had to do really was wait for john to come back so they could move again. Clay smiled. He liked the sound of that. While he said he didn't need friend or anything, the idea of having someone to spend time with at school wasn't bad. "Same goes for you." Jeremy gave a small nod. Sam started to walk again. He stayed on the side with the road. There were too many stories of people grabbing girls off the streets. He wasn't going to let that happen to his sister. Elena didn't really pay any attention to where Sam was walking. She figured that was just where he was, not that he was between her and the road on purpose. She chuckled when he asked how life was going. "Good, and you know that. Whatever happens to me you're always around to find out." Clay looked pretty happy himself. If someone from the pack was there, they'd probably walk right past him, not thinking that it was clay. When in the human world he normally had an ever present scowl on his face. | |

Sam laughed. "I knew it!" However, a tiny part of him wanted to make sure that she actually was joking. He was almost sure she was, but you could never be too careful with these things. She bowed her head a little, just trying to stay out of everyone's way. | |

Elena shook her head at him. She was joking, of course. She would never do drugs and would certainly never be with someone who did them "What about you? Any drug loving girlfriend I should know about?" Clay gave a nod to the see you later comment. He stayed where he was, watching her leave. He couldn't believe what he was doing. A friend? Yeah. His strange moods lately were defiantly messing with him. Or he had a concussion. There was no other explanation. Once she was out of sight he begrudgingly went to his class. He had never wanted to push off a class before. School was for learning and bettering yourself. Not having social time. But today he considered it. | |
