John was working and had left all of the kids behind, which wasn't uncommon. Sometimes he took Dean along, and occasionally Sam, but not this time. Elena was upset about the fact that she never got to help. The only thing she ever got to contribute was research. The pack hadn't changed much in the years. Gregory died in his sleep after catching the flu a couple years ago. Peter had accidentally killed two women while on drugs but thanks to Jeremy very few people had found out. Only clay, Emily, and Malcolm. To buy Malcolm's silence, Jeremy had allowed him to teach clay how to fight. Jeremy had learned everything he could about medicine and had become the packs doctor. He also helped the older two Santos boys through their changes. Dominic liked his initiative and had started to give him more and more responsibilities. Alpha responsibilities. Which pissed Malcolm off, since he wanted to be alpha. | |

Both boys had taken to Elena really well over the years. Dean was extremely protective of both of his younger "siblings". Emily had kinda became a bitch at school. She was one of the popular pretty kids. Heck, as an adult she was hot and she was already getting there. She knew it too. Trying to fit in with her friends, she pretty much ignored Clay throughout the school day. Of course she wasn't mean, but she wasn't nice either. She wouldn't even let him sit by her at school anymore. At home she was still sweet though. Ruby went to their school now too. She was one of the kids that was constantly being picked on by the popular kids. She had to eat alone when she was allowed to eat at all. Even with being a wolf, she never fought back. She didn't even know she was a wolf. | |

Elena had become more normal over the years thanks to her adoptive family. At first she didn't talk at all and woke up in the night screaming. But as time went on, she integrated into the family quite nicely. Now if someone looked at her, they wouldn't know that she wasn't their biological sister/daughter. Clay made his own way through school. Jeremy had kept him at home until he was 13, and when he went back he had been placed into high school. Now he was set to graduate at the age of 16. But that didn't mean he liked school. He mostly kept his head down and tried to avoid interacting with people. He had friends, not the kind that he would hang out with but people that he would work with in projects. They mostly consisted of people from the fringes of school. The kids that didn't fit in. That day, when he had been running laps before school to burn off some energy, the football coach noticed him and tried to convince him to try out for the team, which clay had angrily rebuffed. Lately his moods had become fouler and fouler. He stormed through the hallway, barely noticing as the football team surrounded him. He growled but couldn't escape. | |
