Malcolm ignored her and grabbed clay. He pulled him over to the woman, hoping the blood would entice him. "Kill her." Clay shut his eyes and shook his head. He did smell the blood, but it meant little to him since he wasn't hungry. "No kill humans. Jeremy say so." That was the wrong answer. Malcolm flung him across the room. "Jeremy's not here, is he?" Malcolm asked, his voice still calm. "Even if he was, he'd have to agree. The girl must die. We can hardly let her go. She's seen too much. She knows about us." | |
