Here's a long description of it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferguson_unrest The reader's digest version, without offensive names, is that some black guy who I believe robbed a store attacked a white cop, got shot, ran away, then got shot and killed when he turned to attack the cop again. The black people in the city started "protesting" which if any other racial group did would be called rioting and looting. This went on for a while, then stopped for a bit, started back up when the cop wasn't charged with anything because he didn't do anything wrong, stopped, and started a year later on the anniversary of the black guy's death. | |
