Nick and Daniel started walking back. Elena's parents had decided to take her on a drive to see her new pony. Yeah. She was getting a pony. How much better could a little girls life be? On the way there, it had suddenly started to rain, making the road slick. Their car skidded off the road and hit the guard rail head on. This sent her dad flying out of the windshield. Her mother, who had been wearing a seat belt, slammed her head into the window when the airbag didn't go off. Elena, injured but not fatally injured, climbed out of the back and stumbled to her father's body. "Daddy?" The little girl questioned, shaking him. "Daddy?? Wake up!" She stayed beside her dad in the rain all night, covered in blood, both her's and his, until she was soaked to the bone and had the beginning of frostbite. Maybe the winchesters could find her? | |

Nick brought Antonio outside. Antonio smiled at the girl. Unlike the older version of him, he had a head of dark hair. While still solidly built, he was somewhat slimmer. "What's the problem sweetheart?" Elena shied away from him, but allowed herself to be picked up. She whimpered like a little puppy as she left her father's side. "No. Daddy!" She was scared and confused. Why wasn't her dad getting up and holding her, instead of this stranger? She was so cold and everything hurt! | |

Antonio listened. "Where do you live?" He figured he knew what happened, but wanted to go check it out. He hoped he was wrong. Elena shied away from him, but allowed herself to be picked up. Nick watched her. "You can stay with us." "Nicky." Antonio warned. That was a horrible idea. He knew his son just wanted to help, but that was the worse thing that could happen to the girl. Elena let out a squeak when he poked her. She just curled up in a tighter ball. She was shivering, whether it was from the cold or fear, well that was debatable. Her mom was also dead. There was blood all over the windshield and dashboard from her head. | |

Emily had almost calmed down some when Nick spoke, but started crying again. "Don't send me to an orphanage! I'm not a bad girl." Her real dad has always threatened to send get away whenever she was being bad. Dean turned up the heater in the car. Sam watched her. "I'm Sam." "Leave her alone! Can't you see how afraid she is?" She was vaguely listening to the brothers arguing, but she was mostly just in her own head. Why weren't her parents helping her? And why was she with these people? She didn't know them, and she wasn't supposed to talk to strangers. | |

Emily cried. "I understand." She didn't really. She thought that it was something she did. Or maybe just because she was a stranger. She didn't really know where to go though. She didn't have any family that lived close. Their dad came back to the car. He got in the driver's seat and looked back at the kids. With his lifestyle he probably shouldn't take on another kid. But what the heck. It's not like he could leave the poor girl here. She was close to being dead. So, he started to drive. | |

He'd kill the girl immediately. Jeremy would take her in. He was kind, but had his hands full with clay, who couldn't control his changes yet. "You can stay with us tonight. We'll figure out what to do with you tomorrow." Elena finally looked up when they started to drive. She peaked shyly at john. "W-where are we going? Where's mommy and daddy?" | |

"My names Antonio. This is my son, Nicky." Antonio told her. He gave her a small smile when she stopped crying. "Come on inside. We can get you something to eat or drink if you'd like." Elena watched him. Dead. She had heard that word before, but didn't know what it really meant. Where had she heard it? Then it clicked. When that bird hit the window. It hadn't been moving either. She remembered burying it with her mother. But that didn't really help. "Why?" | |
