Hannah smiled at him. She liked that he wasn't mocking her. "My brother's are realists verging on pessimists. They make fun of me for being like this." She looked at him curiously when he said that he has two moms. "Really? Are they like... together or is one like a step mom?" Having two moms was a thing, right? She had heard her dad complain about stuff like that before.
"yeah. But don't tell no one." Trevor replied, acting like he was joking. He hesitated before answering her next question. He thought it over before shrugging. "I don't know what my favorite is. What's yours?" When he saw her move closer to him, he laughed and nudged her with his elbow. "C'mon. There ain't nothin out there. But you're so sweet that nobody would hurt ya. And I think you'd figure it out just to help them."
Jessie followed him over. She sat down and grabbed the nearest bag. It didn't feel right to her, either. "I know. But there's other people doing it. And it's not like we're out stealing big screen tvs. It's medicine."

Henry smiles. "Well I'm glad you're like this." He looked around, trying to figure out if they were getting any closer. He laughed a little when she asked about his moms. "No, they arent lesbians. I was adopted by my other mom when i was an infant. The one that's here is my birth mom. I found her 6 years ago." Belle smiled. "I think its sweet." She didn't hesitate at all before giving him her answer. "My favorite is Her Handsome Hero. My dad used to read it to me when I was young." Belle jumped a little when he nudged her. "But what if there is something? We can't be the only living thing here." Jim stopped searching just long enough to give her a look. "Yeah, it's medicine. Other people will need it." He continued looking through everything. "So, why were you travelling?"

Hannah smiled. It was pretty easy to tell that she didn't get a lot of kind words like this. "Thanks." She then blushed when he said that they weren't lesbians. "Sorry for thinking they were." In her world that was a pretty big insult, although to him it probably wasn't anything. "It's nice that you found her."
"I've never heard of that one." Trevor told her. "Doesn't really sound like my kind of book, though." He raised an eyebrow when she jumped. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare ya. And don't worry bout what else is here. Not yet. Once we get everything settled then we can go scoutin. See what's here."
"One or two pills aren't going to hurt. And if we find some, we can use the rest to help other people." Jessie replied. At least that sounded good to her. It might just be an excuse to try to justify her bad actions. "I was going home. I haven't seen my family in a few years. Guess it'll be a little while until I see them still. What about you?"

Henry smiled. He noticed how she was acting. "You don't get a bunch of compliments, do you?" He looked around. He laughed when he noticed the blush. "Don't worry about it. They bicker like a married couple." Belle nods. "It's not really about romance. It's so much more than that. It's about compassion and trust. Honesty and always doing the right thing. The things that every hero needs." She shrugs when he apologized. "But how can we sleep if it's not safe here?" Jim nods. "I guess so." She made a lot of sense. That's when he pulled a bottle out of a bag. "Look what I found!" He said proudly, with a small smirk.

Hannah looked away like she didn't want him to know that. "I get them sometimes..." She perked up again when he moved onto another topic. "That's funny."
"Sounds like chick stuff to me." Trevor said. There probably wasn't anything she could say that would change his mind. Feelings wasn't something he liked. He shrugged when she asked about sleeping. "People sleep all the time when they ain't safe. If all goes right we won't be here long enough to have to sleep."
Jessie looked over when she heard the triumph in his voice. "What is it?" She hadn't found anything of use in the bag she was going through. Even the small motions used to go through it was hurting her arm even more.

Henry looked embarrassed. He hadn't meant to make her feel uncomfortable. He has just been talking. He looked around, not trusting himself to talk anymore. That's when he heard it. The ocean waves lapping at the white sand. He smiled. Belle rolled her eyes but dropped the book subject. If he was going to be a jerk about her book them she wouldn't talk about it to him. There were plenty of other things she could do anyway. Such as safety. Belle shrugged a little, looking down. "I guess it could be worse. I mean, I could be pregnant." She joked. Jim smiled. He read off the name of the medicine. "That should work." He excitedly opened the bottle, taking out a couple pills. "Now we just need something to wash it down with."

Hannah's face lit up when she heard the waves from both the possibility of finding other people, namely her brothers, but also the excitement of just seeing the ocean. Yeah, she saw the water from the plane, but that wasn't the same. "Come on!" She said, running the rest of the way. "Man. You are really the external optimist ain't ya?" Trevor asked with a laugh. He hadn't meant to make her mad over the book. He just really didn't have much a filter. He also had the annoying habit of not thinking of how words were hurtful. After all, to him there was a lot worse hurts. Jessie nodded, smiling. She didn't know the name, but he seemed pretty convinced so that was good enough for her. "Someone had to have water or something." She paused, looking at the plane wreckage. "Or there might be something in there." She didn't want to go in there. A simple glance aroun told her a lot of people didn't make it. So she figured some of them were in there.

Henry smiled, watching her. He walked the rest of the way. Walking hurt enough, he was not about to start running too. He hoped that any second Emma would come running over to greet him. I mean, she had gone through so much already. A plane crash wouldn't kill her. Right? Belle shrugged. "I guess so." She looked around, still obviously nervous about her surroundings. While her mother had died while shedwas young, she still remembered the love she had given. Her father became a bit more distant, but still loves her greatly. She had never been beat, from parents, a partner, or in a fight, so she didn't really have anything to compare the words to. Jim smiled. "I'm sure." He followed her gaze to the plane, nodding in agreement to her idea. "Stay here, I can go check it over." He got up starting to walk over before kicking a bag he knew to well. He looked down at the tag, chuckling. "Of all the planes to get on, it had to be this one."

Hannah stopped when she got to the beach and saw the wreckage and other people. It hadn't really dawned on her until now how bad things really were. She looked around for her brothers but didn't see either of them. That didn't mean anything though. They could be out looking for the other two. Trevor kept walking. He was beginning to actually get worried for his family. They should have seen at least one of them by now. That might have been his fault though. He was too preoccupied by talking with Belle. He wasn't paying enough attention, not like there'd be much to track if he found something. He didn't really know that to say to her at this point anyway. She was basically the opposite of him. He saw that she was scared, and wasn't about to leave her on her own out here. "We're gonna be okay. Hell, we survived falling from the sky. This'll be a cake walk." Jessie was about to protest. She could go look. But he was gone before she could spit out any words. Thankfully. She had no desire to be in there. So she went back to her searching. There might be other useful meds in there for other people to use, and she had to find something to wrap her arm with.

Henry came out a few minutes after she did. He looked across the beach. "Oh my God." Henry said under his breath. He looked around the beach, his eyes falling on his Mom. He ran over to her, shaking her. "Mom!" He looked panicked when she didn't wake up. Belle looked down. "I wish we were back at home." She sighed. "So you really believe that somebody is coming for us?" She wanted to, she really did, but it just seemed like empty hopes. After all, if they were on an island, there's no telling if anybody knew where they were. She read a book once that said that there was still entire parts of the ocean surface that have never been searched. Jim went searching through the plane. He did find some water bottles. He found a bag and packed in the water, any food he found, and anything that might be helpful. He also found a survivor, who he helped out.

Hannah followed him over to Emma. She looked really worried as she crouched down beside him. She even thought it was strange how worried she could be over people she didn't know. That's just not how her family was. But that's how she was. She was just a nice person. "Is she breathing?"
"Why not? Planes always got them tracking devices and stuff in them." Trevor replied. While he didn't know whether it was working when they crashed, he wasn't going to tell her that. There was no reason to worry her anymore than she already was. "We should just kick back and relax on the beach while we wait for the rescue team to find us."
Jessie waited for him to come back out. She kept going through bags while she was waiting, and eventually found something for her arm. She wrapped it up the best she could.

Henry looked really worried too. He stayed next to Emma. "Yeah, she seems fine. She just... won't wake up." He thought it was really sweet that she was so worried about his mom. It at least made him feel less alone. Belle nods. "Okay." It didn't make her feel much better. Who knows if the tracker was working. She looked around. "I guess that would be okay. It would be like a vacation. When do you think they'll get here?" Jim came back out after a few minutes. He went back over to her. "I found some things that might help." He smiled. "Oh, and I found another survivor. Actually somebody I used to work with. I don't know why he was on the plane but he's pretty gullible and he falls for all sorts of pranks."

Hannah scooted closer. She moved Emma's hair around, checking her head for any injury. She thought that in the crash, she could have hit it. Which might cause her to stay unconscious. "It might just be the stress of what happened." Trevor pursed his lips, thinking. "I don't know. Soon enough. Once you're done puttin up with me and my search for Jake and Hannah, you won't even have time to work on your tan." He smiled, trying to put her at ease. He didn't think it would work, but it was worth a shot. Jessie looked a little surprised. Not that he found anything useful. She figured he would. But that he found someone alive in there. "Really? Is he okay?"

Henry watched. He was ready to grab his mom if she did wake up. Emma's first reaction would be to defend herself. "Anything?" Henry asked. Emma had hit her head. There was a lump in one side of her head, which has given her a concussion. Belle nods. That did make her feel a little better. "Thank you so much. Your sweet." She smiled about the tan. "I don't think I could tan very well." She laughed. "I just burn." She looked around. He was being pretty nice to her. Jim took the pills. He nodded. "Yeah. Dwights fine. Don't worry about him." He smiled. "You'll have to help me prank him sometime." His life had been a lot of pranks, specifically on Dwight. Sometimes he felt bad about it, then Dwight would speak.

Hannah noticed the lump and nodded. "Yeah. Right here." She pointed to it. "See it? She probably got a concussion. My brothers get them. They aren't good." She didn't know how to wake her up. She just knew not to let the person sleep. Trevor smirked. Sweet? No one called him that. Maybe being here could be a fresh start for him. At least for a little bit. But did he want a fresh start? While it would be nice having people think of him like that for a bit, he wouldn't want it or be able to keep the act up for long. He didn't believe what he was telling her. Not really. They could be stuck on this island for a long time. And nice people weren't going to last long if these people went feral. "Good thing we won't be here long then." Jessie smiled and shook her head. "I don't know. Pranks aren't really my thing." She was raised not to do those kind of things. But she was also raised not to run off to Australia and work with wild animals or go through people's luggage, so maybe it was time to change her ways a little. "But it might be nice to try once."

Henry nodded. He watched his mom. "What do we do?" He hadn't ever had to deal with this before. It was strange, and scary, and he didn't know when she would wake up. He looked down. Belle smiled. She would be lieing if she said she thought she would last more than a couple days. "I hope they come before the night." She couldn't hunt, couldn't fish, didn't know how to build any thing, didn't know any doctory stuff. As far as she was concerned, she was just taking up food and space. Jim smiled, nodding. "You'll like them." It was nice talking to her. At least for him it kept his mind off the impending question of rescue.

Hannah shook her head. She was desperately trying to remember anything that could help but was coming up with nothing. "I-I don't know." She didn't want anything to happen to Emma but this was beyond her skill level. Trevor wasn't all that worried about surviving. He could hunt and build a good enough shelter for a day or longer if necessary. He wasn't good at fishing, it was too boring and he lost interest too quickly to catch anything but that didn't matter. He could find enough food on land. "Of not we will just have to figure somethin out. Gotta be nough people left to have all the necessities covered." "Maybe." Jessie said. She didn't sound too sure but whatever. She could try. It was nice to think of someyhing so trivial as a prank instead of, well, dying out here

Henry nods, looking down still. "It's fine. I'm sure she'll be okay. I mean, she grew up in the streets. It's not like she's never gotten a concussion before." He was mainly trying to convince himself that everything would be okay. Belle looked around. "Do you think we'll work together or will it be every man for himself?" She sighed softly. She didn't like this at all. Maybe she'd wake up and this would all be a bad dream. It had to be. Jim smiled. "I'm sorry I know this is childish. It's just, i can't help it. Every time he speaks it's like he asks for it." He laughed. "I've tried to stop so many times but its like a drug."

Hannah out a hand on his arm, hoping that would comfort him instead of making things awkward. "She will be." Should she say that her brothers got them before? It might help, but Jake got mad when she said those kinds of things. "Dunno." Trevor said. He was wondering that himself. He considered stepping up himself as a sort of leader. That might be nice. But so was hanging back and watching. He didn't know yet. Jessie smiled at him. "Everyone has to have a hobby. I've heard of worse ones than that." At least he seemed to have fun sometimes. She should take a page from his book and stop being so serious. Work wasn't everything.

-- I LIKE PIE!!!! "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid."- Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl "There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing. I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."- Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest "Curious. Your friends appear to be quite desperate, Jack. Perhaps they no longer believe that a gathering of squabbling pirates can defeat the Flying Dutchman. And so despair leads to betrayal. And you and I are no strangers to betrayal, are we, Jack? [Jack, who has been looking through various containers, stops and glances at a P mark on his arm] [turning to face Jack] It's not here, Jack. What? What isn't? The Heart of Davy Jones is safely aboard the Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satisfy your debt to the good Captain. By my reckoning, that debt has been settled. By your death... yet here you are. Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by."- Lord Cutler Beckett and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End "Clergyman, on the off chance that this does not go well for me, I would like you to note it-hearing now-that I am fully prepared to believe in whatever I must, and be welcomed into that place where all the "goody-goodies" want to go once they pop their clogs. Savvy? We have a word for that, Jack. You can convert. I was thinking more of an as-needed basis."- Jack Sparrow and Philip Swift, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Henry looked over at her. He nodded. "I hope so." Emma may be out cold, but she could still hear everything just fine. She wanted so badly to get up and hug him, so badly to comfort him and tell him everything was okay. She just couldn't move. It was like she didn't have the energy. Belle nods. "Oh." She looked around. "If people start fighting each other I think I'm going to leave until things settle down. I don't want to get hurt." What she lacked in survival skills she more than made up for in knowledge. Jim smiled. "I guess so." Well, did he have fun? Yes. All the time. That's exactly why he did it. And as for work, well, what better place to play these pranks?
