"Let them go. They had no part in this!" Keenan growled. Monroe turned to him. "You should have thought about that before you kolos my people. I'm down a lot of soldiers because of you. People lost their brothers. Fathers. Sons. Because YOU couldn't just listen. So now you're going to lose people." He turned back to Hailey and gently ran his hand across her cheek where the bruise was forming. "It does help when they're pretty though." He was actually disgusted with what he had just done. Hailey was a child, but he wanted Keenan to pay so he'd make this as bad for him as he could. | |
